Hallie's pov
We had a little party at Layne Staley's apartment to celebrate Kurt getting full custody of Frances.I wasn't really sure why,but Demri insisted on having it there.I sat on Mark's lap on the couch,gently resting my head on his shoulder."I'm proud of Kurt,he's really grown."he said,"I've never seen Michael this happy before."I remarked.he looked at me and smiled,I blushed."What?"I asked,"nothing,just embracing your beauty."he replied with a smile.I blushed even more,"Markkkk"I whined.he chuckled,"ah shucks darling,it's true and you know it."he said.suddenly we heard Kurt yell,"PUT ME DOWN KRIST!"we turned our hearts and saw Krist carrying Kurt over his shoulder.
"oh boy are we lifting Kurt up in the air again?I wanna join!"Dave exclaimed as he rushed towards Krist and Kurt.I then heard Kim and Ben yell,"CHUG!CHUG!CHUG!"I turned my head and saw Chris and Matt chugging a lot of shots while Kim and Ben encouraged them.I sighed,"men are weird."Mark laughed,"that's just part of the grunge world babe."he said.after a while the party calmed down a bit,which was a relief for me and for Michael.Shelli and Michael volunteered to drive everyone back home and began to round up the people they were gonna drive home."hey Micah?"he turned around,"I just want you to know that you don't have to drive me home,Mark's gonna do it."I said.he grinned,"well I kinda wasn't going to anyway."he said cheekily.i widened my eyes,I blushed in embarrassment and jokingly punched his arm,making him laugh.
