"You must be Kurt,Michael never shuts up about you."Hallie said,shaking Kurt's hand.I blushed in embarrassment,"Hallie!"I whined.Kurt laughed,"well nobody can shut up about me these days."he said.I guess I should explain a bit:Hallie called me on my burner phone,telling me she formulated the perfect blackmail.so Kurt lied to Courtney about going to band practice and I lied about taking Frances' to the park,Kurt didn't want to leave her alone with her and she fell for both of our lies."so how did you get blackmail?"I asked her,gently taking Frances out of the baby carrier."well I didn't get it yet,"we frowned,"but this will."she held up a camera.but the camera was small,different from most cameras.
"How is that gonna help?"Kurt asked in a confused tone,Frances babbled as I bounced her on my lap."allow me to explain,"she pulled out a mini board,"where did you get that?"I asked."oh,I stole this from a class room when I used to be a substitute teacher for second graders."she explained,"but that's besides the point."she shook her head."see:with this camera,we can insert it into one of Frances's toys-or we could somehow hide it in one of your clothings-so that it'll record whatever Courtney's doing."she began to explain,"wouldn't it be better if it was on me?"I suggested.Kurt looked at me with widened eyes,"I could try to gain her trust,and once she does she'll probably confess something to me."I explained.
"That could work..."Hallie said,"what?!no!Micah I won't let you do that,"Kurt said.I sighed and gently handed Frances to Hallie,"Kurt-"I tired to explain but he just cut me off."no Michael!I don't want you to get hurt,I..."he trailed off,"I'll do it."Hallie and I both widened our eyes."WHAT?!"we both exclaimed,startling Frances."shit,I'm sorry Franny."I said,taking her back from Hallie."I-If I do it,t-then maybe we'll have more blackmail material!"he tried to explain,"but you'll get hurt!"I exclaimed."I'm already hurt!"he yelled,Bean then began to cry.Kurt widened his eyes and covered his mouth,I could sense a panic attack coming.Hallie grabbed Frances from me while I quickly hugged Kurt,"it's alright,it's ok."I whispered to him.
He hugged me back tightly,"I don't want you to get hurt Michael...you're the only one who loves me,who cares for me besides Dave and Krist."he whimpered.I pulled away and gently cupped his cheek,"it's like I told you before,"I gently kissed his forehead."you'll never lose me."i said,we heard Hallie sniffed.we turned and saw her tearing up,"I'm sorry it's just,"she quickly wiped her tears with one hand."y'all are just so damn cute!"she gushed,we blushed in embarrassment.Frances smiled,revealing some little teeth.we all looked at her and said,"Awww!"
