9.71 Second Blue Star - The Four Mythical Emperors

In the Upper Realm.

There are lots of Gods and Mythical Beings lurking near the closed gates connected to the Mortal Realm. Not only do these gates forbid anyone from just going down, but only those who ascended from the Mortal Realm could also enter. But as long as you ascended, it would be harder to go down anymore as the four Mythical Families held the authority over the gates. With the permission of the four rulers, it would be impossible to do so.

That's why the boundary gates are yearned by almost every human in the Upper Realm, they haven't been able to descend even once back to their realm as the rules prohibit them to. They would always watch the closed gates waiting for an opportunity to jump out as long it was open.

So the scene of the Dragon King, Long Yi, and Black Turtle King, Gui Se beating up by a handsome man in a black robe was witnessed by many that day. They watch the guy in a black robe rip off Dragon King Long Yi's two arms like chicken wings and dugged his eyes out like picking some candy. They've also watched as a dark shadow with the shape of an unknown yet with eerie sharp teeth chomped on Black Turtle King Gui Se's hand and leg. They even heard the crunchy sound of the bones being chewed upon.

The scene was hellish enough and everyone thought that the two heirs would be killed by the hands of the otherworldly man. What made them shiver is that this man's crimson eyes glinted with excitement and mirth as if the blood had addictive effects on him. Plus with that evil smirk on his thin lips, he looks like a demon king playing with the lives of the two heirs.

Only when the gates had closed after the Dragon King and the Black Turtle King did everyone feel a bit relieved. Then the stunning yet dangerous man in black robes descended back to the Mortal Realm leaving everyone speechless.

Near the gates, the howl of Long Yi from immense pain had startled everyone. His current state is too gory. From the location where his arms were ripped off, a fountain of blood flows. His eye socket was empty and only two small blood-soaked holes could be seen.

AAAARRGGGHH AAAHHHHHH HICCC HHAAAA

Gui Se had bearly howled the same way as Long Yi. But unlike the other who not only loses his arm but all his eyes, him losing an arm and a leg is luckier. He could only bite his low lips as he used his remaining hand to look for a healing pill in his possession. The pill wouldn't completely regenerate their missing limbs but it would at least lessen the pain.

After eating some he also gave Long Yi and fed him with him. The latter had no hand to receive the pills anymore.

"Hah~ Eat this pill. It will remove your pain," said Gui Se.

Long Yi took the pill and it indeed lessened his pain but the emptiness in his arms and eyes would never return.

"Why? Why did he do this to me? I don't even know that Bastard!?" said Long Yi.

Gui Se frowned as he remembered what that man had said to Se'er and Long Yi.

"According to Se'er, this is the Evil God she is talking about. The one who ate Feng Houye and Bai Yu."

"...."

"Plus, I heard what he told you. He said that you... Covets his wife. Who is the one he is talking about? Did you flirt with some woman in the lower realm?" asked Gui Se.

"Nonsense! I fought with two Demigods. These two are from the extinct clans of Vermillion and Fairy Races. Then when I'm about to kill them the Ghost King appeared! Didn't you watch me do all those and you've also run away with me when the Ghost King attacked? Aside from them, the only one that made me excited is the appearance of the Golden Soul possessor. Hm? Don't tell me!!? Is he talking about that beautiful young man!?" said Long Yi as he also finally realized who the wife of the two men was talking about.
