Within the water dungeon, the sounds of loud cries echo within. The young man called Lou Ming cries as he hugs the neck of his master, Ye Wuye. Unfortunately, the latter was unable to hug him back as both of his hands were chained above his head and his whole body was hanged to have half of his body hidden within the icy pool.
Seeing the child who pasted his small body into his while his face was full of tears, Wuye couldn't help but feel sad yet delighted at the same time. He didn't know why. Is it because the child honestly told him his feelings and thoughts or it was because Lou Ming looks like Yun Ming which made his heart soften before the child?
Lou Wuye spoke, "Ming'er, this master is a bit hungry. Could you give me some food which you brought with you?"
Sniffing as he calms his tears, Lou Ming reluctantly lets go of his master as he nods his head in agreement with his master's words. He went to the rock where he placed the bread and soup and fed Lou Wuye with his own hand; his master is, after all, bound by chains and couldn't eat on his own. When Lou Wuye saw the child was planning to feed everything to him, he stopped opening his mouth to accept the food.
"Eat the rest. I am in no need of too much food with my cultivation higher than yours. Ming'er eats the rest for me. You must eat it while I'm looking or I'm afraid you would skip eating while I am not looking," said Lou Wuye. He was staring at the young man who was averting his hands and his master had seen through him. He could only eat the rest of the soup and the bread in front of his master's presence.
He was afraid that his master might get angry if he didn't listen to his words at all. After finishing their dinner Ming'er wanted to enter the water to accompany his master only for him to be stopped by the waves within the pool. He knew that with only him and his master in this cave, only Lou Wuye was able to prevent him from approaching the icy pool.
He looks so pitiful when he looks at the Great Elder and says, "Master, don't you want Ming'er anymore? Boohoo..." asked Lou Ming show as staring at his master with tear-filled eyes.
"This master didn't say that he didn't want MIn'er anymore but... Master cannot allow you to sleep in this cold place with the master. You will get sick if you stay in this place. For tonight go back and get those things in the hidden compartment for this master. There is also a space ring in there. Take everything in our warehouse and don't get others to notice you, especially the Young Lord." said Lou Wuye.
Bewildered Lou Ming asked, "Young Master? Is the Master talking about Ye Mo? He is indeed a bad person. After the master was imprisoned in this place, I saw multiple guards carrying his servants' dead bodies. Their deaths were gruesome and inhuman. I don't even understand what is wrong with the Young Master, I hate him laughing like a lunatic while holding a black book which he carries around lately. Had he gone crazy?"
"No. That child had been crazy in the beginning. He is too greedy and wants everything to be his. It wouldn't be surprising that he would even scheme against his would-be father after their plan to kill the God of Void was completed." said Lou Wuye.
Then he remembered that this little brat of his is quite something. He could act according to his wants but used anyone that may provide him with what he wanted. Didn't this young man just use the Young Lord to capture this lord? He is indeed a bit too smart for a boy who hasn't completed his incoming age ceremony. According to the memories from the original Ye Wuye when he saved Lou Ming this child's identity isn't normal. His parents were both Highgods with an unknown background. No one knew why they were assassinated by a Godking cultivator but rumors say that the couple had exchanged both of their lives to bring that Godking to death with them leaving a lone Lou Ming as an orphan.
