Ye Xiajie only went to bed after cleaning his wife and the room. He didn't care what the others were doing. His full attention was only on his wife's sleeping face. Only after he had peacefully hugged his wife did he go to sleep with him. He doesn't need any sleep but as soon as he closes his eyes what welcomes him is the familiar world of the abyss.

It is the very same abyss he is born into. There is nothing in this place. There is only overwhelming darkness on all sides and nothing more. But despite the darkness, he could hear countless breaths within the black territory. There are too many as if he is being surrounded by more than millions of unknown presences but the owners of their breathing were never hostile towards him instead they had an absolute servile attitude towards him. Ye Xiajie didn't look good as he felt another presence within him. It was extremely familiar to himself yet not at the same time.

Ye Xiajie spoke, "Xia Jieye, why are you here?"

"Hn! That's what I would ask of you? Why did you come back to the abyss? This place is no longer under our complete control. If not for my blocking of presence that bastard would have caught us already. Plus, why is our wife's aura within you protecting us as well." said Xia Jieye, his voice cold and detached as always.

Like Ye Xiajie, he is only kind towards Hei Anjing and treats the others no less than garbage.

Ye Xiajie looked at himself and saw the ice and space essences who usually treat him as the air suddenly stick themselves onto him and look vigilant around them. It was as if they were afraid of something suddenly appearing.

On the other hand, Xia Jieye found some traces of time elements in the area. He knew that this place isn't their current timeline. He also knew that Ye Xiajie has high comprehension of the Time spells which is why the essence of time liked him quite a lot unlike him who had the absolute love of darkness essences.

"This is something you just had done instinctively. Somewhere in you brought us here. This is not our original time but I could only vaguely remember this part. This might be us before I escape the Abyss." said Xia Jieye.

Ye Xiajie mumbled, "Before escaping the abyss... A memory that is unknown to both you and me."

Then the darkness before them had swirled and an extremely familiar face appeared. Within the darkness is a specially pure white throne. Sitting on it is a pure black-robed man. This man possesses a heavenly defying aura of darkness and within the abyss, only his crimson inhuman irises gave the feeling of life within this black and white world. The man possessed the face of the God of Void.

Ye Xiajie and Xia Jieye were stunned to see themselves in front of them. This man looks exactly like both of them and so much more like Xia Jieye. But sadly, unlike the both of them, this man's eyes are lifeless and dull. There is no life, no emotions, or anything within those blood-shaded eyes. It is empty. A man that is living yet completely dead.

Even the two who see this man that has the same face as themselves couldn't help but be speechless. At least, when Xia Jieye appeared in Vearth, he already had negative emotions about himself like distrust, anger, possessiveness, and indifference. But the man on the throne had completely nothing. Like a real God of Void itself.

Ye Xiajie asked, "Is this us before you appeared in Vearth? What happened in this place? Why do you say that the abyss is no longer in our control?"

"Sigh. I don't know. The last thing I could remember before I opened my eyes in Vearth is that the abyss is not in my control anymore and... It is dangerous to go back there. That's all. I can't remember anything else. Before I could investigate, Siwang had already come to pick me up." said Xia Jieye.
