"Those pore kits," a Riverclan cat muttered. "We have to take them to our camp." "You're right, Icepelt. Their mother might have been a stray and probably left them here to die," another Riverclan cat said. "They remind me of my own own kit, who got lost." "I'm sorry Deepsea," Icepelt mumbled.

"Rosewater, you can take care of them. Then they won't have to be alone and lost like my kit," Deepsea said. "Yes, I can take care of them," Rosewater said. "I will be their new mother." There was some sort of hunger in her voice, but she looked at the kits with a lot of love in her eyes.

Icepelt picked one up and suddenly gasped through the kits hair. "They smell like Shadowclan," he said. Deepsea gasped. "I always knew Shadowclan cats were cruel, but i never thought they would just leave there kits to die!" Rosewater said. "They are truly cruel," Icepelt mumbled. He seemed rather mad. "I definitely didn't expect to find lost kits," Deepsea mumbled. "I just wanted to leave the nursery for a second."

They brought the kits to Riverclans camp. "How will you call them?" Deepsea asked, when they where back in the nursery. "I'm going to name that one Blackkit, because he's black. The other three Cricketkit, Crabkit and Coconutpaw," Rosewater said. "Those are very nice names," Deepsea mumbled. "But what about her?" "Cottonpaw," Rosewater said. "After your lost kit." Deepsea smiled. "Thank you, Rosewater."
