A cat was laying on the ground, she started couching and spitted out a lot of water. 'Where am I? This isn't my den, did I drown, am I in Starclan?' She opened her eyes. 'I'm still alive! How? I should've drowned, Peltclaw threw me in the river.' Blossomwhisker shook her body, to get the water out of her fur. 'I can't go back to Riverclan now, Tigersight will try to kill me. What can I do? I could asks Shadowclan for help.' Blossomwhisker sighed. 'I shouldn't do that, they won't care about me. Thunderclan would definitely help, but Peltclaw smelled like a Thunderclan cat. Maybe Windclan.' Blossomwhisker licked her paw. 'I could at least try. The river should've led me to the end of Riverclans territory and the start of Windclans territory.' Blossomwhisker looked around. "Alright," she mumbled. "There I go." Suddenly she heard shouting. "Hey! What are you doing here? Intruder!" a big tom yelled. "P-please, don't hurt me, I need help!" Blossomwhisker mumbled. "Who are you?" a she-cat asks. "Blossomwhisker, from Riverclan," she answered. "Why do you need help? Do we have to bring you back to Riverclans camp?" the she-cat asked. "No!" Blossomwhisker said. "Absolutely not!" "We probably should," another tom cat says. "Let her talk, Deersprint," the she-cat mumbled. "Why don't you want to go back to your camp?" "I-o-one of my clanmates tried to k-kill me," Blossomwhisker stuttered. "T-they threw me into the river, hoping I would d-drown but s-somehow I survived. I-I need a place t-to stay." "Why don't you go to Thunderclan? They'd probably help you," Deersprint said sarcastically. "Deersprint!" the she-cat hissed. "What? They have a thing for taking cats that don't belong in their clan," Deersprint said. The she-cat rolled her eyes at him. Deersprint turned back to Blossomwhisker. "Why don't you?" he asked. "Tthere w-where two c-cats, one was m-my clanmate a-and the other one was a T-Thunderclan cat," Blossomwhisker stuttered. "We need to take her to our camp, alright Deersprint and Feathercloud?" the she-cat said. "Yeah, you're right," a different she-cat called Feathercloud said. Deersprint rolled his eyes. "I'm Appletail by the way," the she-cat said. "T-thank you for helping me," Blossomwhisker mumbled.

"He's exhausted, Appletail," Deepblow said. "We have to speak to him, this Riverclan cat was almost brutally murdered! It's important!" Feathercloud said. "Tomorrow is a better day, Blossomwhisker can stay here. She can sleep in the medicine cat's den. Then Mouseheart and Flaringpaw can look after her there," Cinderblaze the deputy says. "Deepblow is right, Breezestar needs to rest." "Fine," Appletail mumbled. "You can come with me, Blossomwhisker. Then you can tell me exactly what happened," Mouseheart said, while leading the newcomer to her den. "T-thank you," Blossomwhisker mumbled. "This means a lot to me."
