"I'm happy that you took over my roll as medicine cat. If you hadn't," Rivertree mumbled. "The clan would hate me for expecting Lionspot's kits." "It's alright," Dawnpool said. "I'm happy for you, but you will still help me when I need you right?" "Of course I will!" Rivertree said. "I know that you won't always what to you. You're so young still." "Thank you, Rivertree. You were the best mentor I could've wished for," Dawnpool mumbled. "You were the best apprentice I could've wished for," Rivertree said. "But do you think I'm okay?" Dawnpool nodded, after examining Rivertree's swollen belly. "Your kits should should come in somthing around a moon," he said. Rivertree nodded. "Thank you," she muttered. She looked at him with worried eyes. "Are you okay?" Rivertree asked. Dawnpool shrugged. "You're worrying about something, aren't you?" Rivertree said. "It's nothing," Dawnpool muttered. 'I better not tell her about Tigersight, Dawnpool thought. 'But why is she always gone, I mean, it's probably nothing.' He saw Rivertree staring at him. "I'm fine," Dawnpool hissed. "Sorry, I'll go back to my den. Lionspot probably wants to speak to you." Rivertree nodded and her former apprentice went back to the medicine cat den. 'What if Tigersight is still meeting that Thunderclan cat? Peltclaw or something,' he thought. 'I shouldn't care that much, it's her choice.'

Cricketkit heard his littermate Coconutkit purring, the noise bothered him. "When will I become a apprentice, mommy?" Blackkit asked. "When you're six moons old," Rosewater said. 'Something doesn't feel right,' Cricketkit thought. "Am I almost six moons old?" Blackkit asked. "Yes," Rosewater said. "I'm going to be the best apprentice ever and after that the best warrior," Cottonkit mumbled proudly. "Oh of course you're going to be the best," Cricketkit said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes. "I bet I'm gonna be the best," Crabkit told Cottonkit. "Well," Cottonkit hissed. "I don't think so." Crabkit growled and jumped on her sister, they started play fighting. "I bet none of you are going to be great warriors if you always act like that," Rosewater said teasingly. "That's not fair," Crabkit cried. "She was just joking," Cricketkit said. "You mousebrain." Crabkit cried even harder. "Be nice to her Cricketkit," Rosewater said. She sounded a bit angry. "Sorry mom," Cricketkit mumbled. Crabkit grinned and stook out her tongue at. 'Foxheart,' Cricketkit thought. 'That that is my littermate!' Rosewater looked at him and Cricketkit rolled his eyes.
