It's been almost a week since I and Claire form a new relationship. We talk often but haven't seen eachother since.

I was on my bed with my laptop thinking of what to write when my phone ring. I look at it to see a message notification. It was Claire. I smiled reading the message

Hey so I'm wondering if you would like us to meet this night I mean it totally fine if you are busy

Where I replied immediately before realizing it sounded a little bit eager. "I mean I will be free this night and I think it will actually be nice to spend a little time of my day outside not stuck here" I decided to add

Where do you want?

Hmm anywhere but not too fancy" I replied back

Hmmm okay should I pick you up or do you want me to send the location to you?

Location pls" I didn't think I'd survive with both of us In the same car. I have been having some fantasy about her and I think I'm growing a little crush on her. I didn't know why she intrigues and maybe it's all because I have been living a very boring life

Growing up I have never thought about a girl in a romantic way. I mean I have lesbian  mate of course but I have never even kissed a girl so why I'm having this feelings for her, is so strange to me. It's probably going to disappear after sometime, that's what I keep telling myself but each day I find myself touching myself while having her on my mind

Okay I will send it to you, see you tonight? She texted back

Sure you too" I replied feeling all funky. I went to my phone gallery looking at the pictures of her she sent to me. She looks beautiful with her green eyes. I watched her pictures a few more minutes before thinking I should stop.

I heard a knock on my door and I knew who it was. I got up opening the door.

Uh is there a problem? I asked knowing that's the only reason he normally knocks on my door

Father called and invited us over for dinner" he said

What I already had plans I said getting annoyed already

He looked at me like I'm saying the most absurd thing which probably is "it's simple Cancel them" he said turning to leave and be ready around five, no extra time to waste on you today" he said finally leaving

I rolled my eyes at him knowing he was referring to the other day. What should I tell Claire. I have been giving her excuses for the past few days and now I accepted I'm going to cancel on her again. As if on cue a message from her dropped in telling me the location

Hi uh I don't know how to tell you this but I don't think I will be coming. Family dinner and all and I promise I will come next time if there will be next time"

She read it but didn't reply. I sighed knowing she probably going to hate me. My phone started ringing immediately. It was her I picked it up

Are you intentionally cancelling on me?

Of course no, father in law wanted us to join them for dinner and I can't say no"

Okay cool just wanted to hear your voice she laughed over the phone. Is she flirting with me? I thought. You wish

I smiled too thanks maybe next time what about this weekend huh? I asked hoping she will be less busy. Frank will be going on businesses travel and I will be staying alone

That's cool Mark won't be around going on some business travel so I will be only around with kiddo" she said

Who's kiddo?" I asked

Oh my son Jason" you didn't meet him last time cause he was asleep but you will get to meet him.

Oh okay" I said saying bye before ending the call. I didn't know she has a child, son. I have been having some stupid fantasy over a married woman with a child. God I'm so terrible

Hey you cut the call suddenly are you okay?  She said after she called again and I picked

Yeah I'm just surprised and you didn't tell me you have a son"

Oh I'm sorry it's just that it never came up in a discussion

Right anyway it's cool I can't wait to meet him. How old is he?

He's five big boy

That's cool well say hi to him. I have to go and prepare" I said seeing that it's remaining one hour for me to be ready

Okay bye hope you miss me" she said before cutting the call. I was speechless and puzzled for a moment. Didn't know what to say or think. Maybe it's just a friendly way to say goodbye but I can't help but think if she actually meant it. I decided to wave it over and prepare before my daring husband gets annoyed

Tonight was supposed to be wonderful but I guess I was just dreaming over a day going smoothly in my life. I prepared though I didn't finish on time I was a little earlier than last time so he didn't say much about it. We just drove silently to his parents house ready to form a happy married life. I groaned thinking of faking a smile all night just to please the parents and him too. It was nothing new but sometimes it gets tiring
