Clair dropped me off before going back home, I mean I didn't want her to but she insisted. I didn't know how long I'm planning to stay here but I needed to find a house. I ordered pizza and chicken feeling the need to fill my stomach. I took a bath while waiting for the delivery. Today was a hell of day

Knock knock knock I heard from the door. I rushed opening the door to see Claire there. She looked bothered and frustrated

I thought you have a spare key? I asked

Yeah but I didn't want to startle you so I thought knocking is good" she entered the house slumping on the sofa

Are you okay what's wrong?

I think I'm a terrible mom" she said sighing loudly

What? I joined her on the sofa. It's probably because Jason father didn't come and she's feeling guilty about it I thought. Did Jason told her what he told me, was that why she feels like she's a terrible mom because I am assure her Jason is lucky to have someone like her as a mom

Jason had a fight with one of his mate. His teachers said he's been exhibiting a very violent behavior at school.... I don't know what to do" she said interrupting my thoughts. I can't believe it's Jason they are talking all this about, I mean he doesn't seem like that type of kid. We haven't spent much time together but I know he's a good kid. He told me about beating one of his mate for talking ill of his mom, does it mean he does it often

Does he do it at home? I asked knowing that's the basic thing

No that's why I didn't believe it but then when I saw the boy he beat, I - - - she started sobbing. It was probably serious

Hey it's okay, it's not your fault " I hugged here rubbing her back. She was the best mom ever and I knew w she's doing her best. When she calmed down a bit I told him about the discussion I had with Jason ealier that day. She seemed to calm down a bit

Where is Jason now" I asked

He does extra lesson with his friends" there was a knock on the door and I remembered the order I made earlier. I almost forgot I got up

Expecting someone? She asked raising her eyebrows at me. I nodded going over to open the door. I paid for the package closing the door to see her standing like she followed me out

I made an order ealier, you wanna join" I said placing it on the table. I went into the kitchen to bring some wine and glasses. I was craving wine all f a sudden

Yeah God I'm so hungry" she sat down waiting for me. I came out giving her one glass. It smells nice she continues as I poured her the drink. I sat down pouring for myself too.

Enjoy" I said as I watch her collect one slice of pizza taking a huge bite. You gonna choke if you continue with that size I said as I took mine taking the same nite which resulted in her busting out laughing. We talked and ate all the while forgetting everything outside of this moment.

After we were done I cleared up the place, then went back sitting with her. We sat together close but not closely enough for us to touch as we sip our wine

My phone beep, I got taking it from the table to see a message from my husband. I opened it to see it

Is everything alright? I looked up to see her looking at me.

My husband texted, His parents are coming over so he wants me home"she didn't say anything except oh. I read the message over and over again  until I bust out laughing. I didn't know why I was laughing but it grew as second goes by

Hey she asked with a worried look. I continued laughing until it grew into sobbing. Weeks I left the house he didn't text or call and now he wants me back cause his parents will be coming

Hey it's alright she hugged me rubbing my back. My sobbing reduced, I didn't want to leave so I continued holding her. After a well I pulled out wiping my tears, God I must look bad with all the tears and stuffs. She gave me her handkerchief which I used to clean my tears. She was looking at me removing the hairs that fell out from its place. We were close, barely touching but enough to inhale each other scent. I looked at her, the feeling I haven't recognize surfaced that I didn't realize what I'm about to do until the deed happens.

With my two knees on the floor I got up pulling her closer to me and myself to her until our lips met. It happened for only a second but it felt like forever to me. Immediately I did it, she pushes me off getting up. The reality of what I did came to me, I got up wanting to apologise but she was already out of the door. Fuck what the hell did I do that for
