I paid the cab guy who drove me home. I totally forgot to pick Jason from my friends house, Karen. I opened the front door to see Karen on the sofa who probably slept off while waiting for me. I turned to close the door quietly not wanting to wake her up and start all her questions

I was about to turn and head upstairs when she called my name "where do you think you are heading to?" I heard her say getting up from the sofa

I thought you are asleep? I asked it's of no use cause I know she's definitely not going to rest until I say where I went. I avoided her questions when I took Jason to her house

I thought I ruined everything between us but I guess I was wrong. Maybe she felt it too. I smiled with tat thought before sleeping off
