Looking at all the mess I made just trying to figure out what to wear but I still can't believe I have not find what I thought I was looking for. Some feels so casual, whole some too dress up some too open.

Finally I decided to go with a dark green gown. A black small heel. I used extra minutes again to wonder how I should leave my hair. I don't know why I'm trying so hard to look good for her, she wouldn't probably notice. I groaned deciding to pack it up. I looked at the time, I'm almost running late. I wore my necklace picking up my purse, phone and car keys. I close my bedroom door looking around to see everything is in right place. Seeing that everything is okay, I locked the door entering my car and speeding off to my date, I mean dinner  ppoopo

The evening was cool. The sun has settled leaving the weather a bit cold. I drove to the Dough avenue, looking at the one to see that I'm actually arriving early. I parked my car looking at the mirror once more. I applied the lipstick once again, using my fingers to brush my hair which was a it messy cause of the evening wind. I looked at myself wondering why I'm trying to look too good before finally stepping down from my car

I opened the door entering the spacious room filled with people on their date or something. I used my eyes to scan the room but I didn't see Claire. She hasn't arrived yet. God I'm probably too early. I walked through going to the table that's at the far end of the room. I sat down looking at the time, ot was already ten minutes late from our fixed time. I brought out my phone thinking if I should call her or not. I decided to leave it.

After an hour of waiting for Claire with the bottle of water I got, I decided to go. Maybe something came up. I texted her that I'm leaving already. I looked up about to get up and be on my way home,I saw her walk through the door looking for me. I waved at her signaling my presence.

She walked towards me, sweating a bit "I'm so sorry..... June she said immediately she sat down in the opposite chair

Are you okay? I asked seeing the distress on her face.

Yeah" she sighed rubbing the back of her neck.

Uh ---- okay? What kept you been here for like an hour now?

Something came up ---- my son had a problem more like a fight with some group of kids"

How's he? I asked taking one of her hands and rubbing it involuntary

She sighed softly looking at our hands smiling which made me realize what I was doing. I removed my hands immediately bringing them under the table. God I didn't miss how soft her hands are, tiny but soft.

I don't know he took a couple of Punches ---- he says he's fine but I know he's not. I took him to my friend house, will pick him up later.  I don't know what to do" she was almost about to cry. This isn't how I imagine we will be starting our date ......God dinner diner I repeated in my head trying to make my brain aware that this is just a dinner between two friends.

He will be fine" I said. I'm not so good with advise not to talk about teenage ones

You have no Idea what to say" she says laughing which made me laugh. I nodded which made both of us laugh more

God I ruined everything,I wanted tonight to be perfect"

Hey it's still perfect to me and we still have some time to make it better" I said

Nah stop. I'm all sweaty and messy and God what the ......

Hey I'm serious you look beautiful to me ---- as a friend I added noticing the tension that almost arrived. She smiled probably at the friend I added last.

So can we order now, I'm so hungry" I said removing the tension

Yeah hopefully the food makes up for everything, you gonna love the food" she said signalling the waiter. It made me wonder if she has been here with her husband, I mean that's probably how she knew they make good food and I don't know why that upset me

I normally come here" she said after we finished ordering

With your husband? I asked regretting immediately why I did

No! of course not, my friend introduced me to here, she works here though sadly she off today" she says smiling

Oh cool, would like to meet her one day" I said

She's trouble but in a good way, you gonna love her" she smiles almost calm

Our food was brought few minutes later and it wasn't a lie, it tasted nothing like I ever tasted before. We talked after drinking our wine and getting to know each other.

We talked about so many things, I told her about why I haven't had a child and apologized for the way I acted during our last conversation. We talked about how we met our various husband, her son she adores him so much I mean who wouldn't. I have always wanted a child but I guess that's out of the question for now.
