Y/N POV

I held Yoru's white as paper kitty in my arms as I laughed at her trying to paw at my face, her big brown eyes staring at me- in a cute little killer mode. My hand teased her stomach as she tried to catch my fingers in her claws, "too slow!" I called out to the cat. This only made her more excited as she attempted to get up off her back- my hand instantly pushing down to keep her contained.

Yoru wanted me to look after his cat while he went out shopping, and now that I think about it, I believe he mentioned that her name is Yang. I stared at her struggling as I kept laughing.

Now that I keep thinking even harder, there's barely anyone present in the building at the moment: gives me more of a reason to keep Yang by my side.

Suddenly she perked up, her pupils shrinking as her head kept turning to figure out where the sound she heard was coming from. "What's up Yang?" I whispered, then noticing a strange noise in the distance. My brows furrowed as my features became expressionless- I looked around for Cypher's cameras to see if he could give any information.

Unfortunately, no response... is he out somewhere as well? Maybe he's sleeping, I mean it is only 10:00am.

I hugged the kitty close to my chest as I crept closer to the sound, my senses on their tiptoes.

I peeked my head around the corner to the teleporter room, catching sight of a white-haired man propped up sitting against the crates. My eyes widened significantly as I ran towards him, "Sova? Hey, Sova!" I placed Yang down next to me after I slid to kneel in front of the Russian. "Is that you Y/N?" He coughed, grasping his side tightly.

"Yes, its me, what happened?" I peeled his hand off his side to show me the injury. It was bleeding very badly, and I haven't seen Skye or Sage anywhere today. They're always somewhere close by in case something happens. I looked up to stare into his fluttering eyes, he kept looking up at the ceiling. "You're not gonna die Sasha, not on my watch at least," my arms went under his knees and arm.

"Y/N! N-no!" He coughed out again, "Sasha!" I exclaimed, making him shut up very quickly.

Come on, come on, all that deadlifting, all those reps come on, don't fail me now. I picked Sova up into my arms bridal style, "Hey, you're not actually that heavy... come Yang," I didn't forget to call the kitty to walk by my side. Sova's breathing didn't sound or look too good. This really had my heart in a twist.

I started walking faster into the infirmary to place him down on a hospital bed. He sat there still gripping his wound, "Good job Sasha, you're doing so good, stay awake for me," He groaned. I began taking his clothes off bit by bit to leave him in a tight, long-sleeved black t-shirt. I won't lie, I did stare for a little longer than I should've.

His toned muscles were accentuated by the shirt, but I hastily went back to work, lifting the shirt to reveal the injury. He huffed out a little groan, taking his hand away and sitting back on his hands. I ran to the sink to run some hot water, grabbing a soft towel to soak. I jogged back to press it down onto the bleeding area.

"Mind telling me what happened?" His head hung low as he glanced up to me, sweat plastering his forehead- his hair sticking to it. My hand went up to wipe his forehead, getting the hair out of his face. Frankly, I didn't care much for that shit, it's just sweat, we have a much bigger problem here.
