Y/N pov.

I don't know what just happened. The words kind of just came out of my mouth. As soon as he appeared, I had a surge of power course through my body along with some newfound confidence.

Crow: Kid!

I looked at the crow which was next to Saji. I also noticed that Saji was awake.

Crow: These shadows have a weakness try hitting it with a spell.

Y/N: A spell?

In an instant, I obtained knowledge about my persona, such as what it was capable of. I stretched out my hand in the shadows' direction.

Y/N: Bufu!

Askr then lifted his hand and pointed it at one of the shadows. A chunk of ice then started to form out of thin air and shattered, destroying the Shadow in the process. 

Y/N: Again! Bufu!

Askr pointed at another Shadow as the chunk of ice formed on its body and the shattered resulting in its destruction. One of the shadows was got close and tried swinging down on my, but I blocked it with the flat side of the sword. I pushed back and swung at it with the serrated teeth cleaving through its body, but not cutting it in half. I then charged towards it and swung at the base of its head and cut it clean off. The shadow fell and turned into black smoke.

Y/N: Three down, and only one left.

The shadow with the massive claws howled to the sky and started to glow red.

Crow: Look out! it's Hitting you with everything it's got!

The shadow leaned forward and lunged at me with incredible speed. I didn't have enough time to block it.

*Clang*

Turns out, I didn't need to. Askr got in the way and blacked the Shadow with his sword. He seemed to be struggling so I stopped wasting time and ran around him and swung down at the shadows' side. Askr managed to throw the shadow back as he returned behind me. The shadow seemed to have lost its balance and dropped onto one knee. I saw the opening and took. Pointing at the shadow I shouted.

Y/N: Now! Cleave it in two!

Askr rushed the shadow and held his sword over his shoulder. Once he got close enough, he swung his sword down. For a second I thought he missed, but after he rested his sword back on his shoulder the shadow fell to the ground in two pieces. He looked back at me and chucked his sword in my direction. I couldn't react. The sword flew past my head.

*Shunk*

I looked to my side and saw the handle. I turned all the way around and saw the blade sticking through the face of another shadow that snuck up behind me. Askr casually hovered over to me and lifted the sword, killing the last shadow. I looked up at him as he looked down at me. As the battle ended, I finally got a better look at him. I didn't know what to say, but the words just came out.

Y/N: Thanks.

Askr: Your welcome.

With that, Askr turned into fire and vanished as the chains on my shackle returned. They seemed normal at first, but the end of the broken chain was glowing blue as it floated in the air. I snapped out of it and went to the crow and Saji.

Y/N: Hey, are you two alright?

Crow/Saji: Us?

Saji: Y/N, what was that just now?
