Reality or Matrix ?

We had solved the case . It was an easy one . Mainly due to Will's abilities . I was scheduled to start therapy with Hannibal from next week and Will had invited me to his house in the middle of nowhere to celebrate us catching the unsub . I drove to his house and by the time I reached there , it was already pitch dark because it was winter and the days were shorter than usual . 

I got out of my car and started walking towards his house when I heard twigs snap from behind me .

I froze .

I started walking again and the sound came closer . I turned around , a huge deer was standing behind me , red eyes , huge antlers dripping with blood .

I screamed as I ran up to the front door .

" Will ! Help me ! " ; I screamed and cried .

And after what felt like forever , he opened the door and I jumped on him and hugged him tightly as I cried . He held me as I begged him to save me .

" What happened?  Save you from what ? " ; he asked confused as he closed the door .

" That deer " ; I sniffled .

" What deer , Arabella ? " ; Will asked .

I turned towards the door to show him the creature but it was no longer there . 

" Wha - What ? No , no , I swear the deer was there , it had red eyes and blood dripping from its antlers . You have to believe me Will ! I am not lying , I am not crazy " ; I kept on rambling . 

He guided me to the couch and sat me down . 

" Arabella , I believe you , okay ? Calm down sweetheart , here , drink some water " ; he said bringing a glass of water to my lips . 

I took a sip of water and sat with my head in my hands . I could hear glasses clinking and drinks being poured but I was too busy drowning in my own thoughts . Where did that deer go ? Was i hallucinating ? Am I going crazy ? No ! No ! can't be . 

" Here , drink this " ; Will said as he handed me a glass of alcohol . 

I drank the entire glass in one go , not that there was much . Will chuckled and filled my glass again . This time , I just took a sip . 

" Better ? " ; he asked . I nodded . 

Will sat beside me on the couch and we didn't talk for the a few minutes . 

" Wanna meet my dogs ? " ; he asked . 

" Yeah " ; I replied smiling . 

Will whistled  for his dogs and all 7 of them came running in the living room . I giggled as they surrounded me and one of them licked my face . 

" Oi , Winston , down boy " ; Will said chuckling as he pulled the ginger-black and white dog from my face . 

" They are really cute " ; I sighed as I continued petting them . 

" Do you have pets ? " 

" Yeah , two cats " 

" What kind ? " 

" A Scottish fold and a British Shorthair named Oggy and Harry " 

" Cool names " 

" So , uh , dinner's ready . Would you like to eat now ? " 

" Sure "

After Dinner , we sat by the fireplace , me on the floor with the dogs while Will sat on the couch as we talked about the past cases that I had solved . Very soon , I started feeling drowsy . The last words I heard before passing out were : Sweet dreams . 

Will's Pov : 

I called Hannibal as soon as she passed out . 

" Did it work ? " ; he asked . 

" Yeah . It did . She saw it as soon as she got out of the car " 

" Good . We need her to depend on us . See us as her protectors . She needs it " 

" I know babe . I am just worried that she wouldn't wanna be in a relationship with both of us " 

" It will all work out Will " 

" I hope so " 

" Bye Will " 

" Bye Hanni " 

I looked over to her sleeping body on the couch where I had placed her . The LSD worked perfectly . Just a little amount can do wonders ! The LSD was sprayed in her Ac vents by Hannibal just before she left the headquarters today . 

I went over to the couch and ran my knuckles down her cheek . Her innocence came out when she slept. I kissed her on the forehead before taking her up to my bedroom and covering her with blankets . 

" goodnight , my darling " ; I whispered .
