Chapter 2

Taani completed her training period now she's assisting under Mrs.Smita, they got a project, it's a joint project 'Shekhawat& Solanki' will be working on it together. Mr.Khanna assigned Taani to prepare the PPT of the project, the ppt was approved and everyone were very impressed with hers skills, Solanki's requested Taani to assist in the project which meant she have to work in the Solanki company till the project end,it probably would take a month time. Taani couldn't be more happy with the opportunity she's getting to learn,to explore and Tauji got to know, he was very happy and proud of her.
Today was her first day in Solanki company, she was nervous, she entered the reception ask for 'Arjun Solanki', she showed her the path. She was near to the cabin at the same time someone also came there both collided, Taani closed her eyes anticipating her fall but the other holded her firmly through waist, got lost in her beauty, murmured 'beautiful', she opened her eyes hearing the whisper, the guy again got lost in her eyes,her eyes reflect innocence, they had eyelock, she got in senses relaxing their position, broke the eye contact, awkwardly lowering her eyes cleared her throat, he too got out of daze, helped her stand on her feet, he stepped back let her enter the cabin first, she went in hurriedly, Arjun saw her, "Ms.Taani please come" shaked hands "take a seat" she sat, "Ms.Taani your presentation was impressive, you'll be assisting us in the project, there will be other mates too, we will have a brief meeting on this, till then you can get yourself settled, wait a min" he explained everything calmly, she got good vibes from him,she was nodding with a smile, he called someone and ask to come to his cabin,at the same time, the guy she collided entered the cabin,"Bhai woh" and stopped as she turned to him, "Haan adi", "nothing bhai, aap busy ho, I'll come later" Taani was looking at them, "No wait, adi meet her, she's Ms.Taani, the ppt for the new project was done by her, she'll be assisting us in this project and Ms.Taani he's my brother Aditya, COO of Solanki's" they looked at eachother, she stood up and he too came to her, they shook hands, they felt a connect, there was a knock, withdraw their hands, "Sanvi meet Ms.Taani show her office till, and also arrange conference hall, meeting in 15mins okay" said Arjun. They went out, Arjun turned to adi
Arjun - Haan adi bol kya tha
Adi - Bhai main soch raha tha ke main bhi iss project mein kaam karo
Arjun - accha par kal tak toh mana kar raha tha, aaj mausam mein badlav kaise, knowingly teased him
Adi - Hmm bhai, aap bol rahe the naa this project is important isliye I thought why not
Arjun - ohh okay you can join in, good decision chalo let's move meeting hai
Adi - thank you Bhai , grinning got up to leave,
Arjun - by the way adi, good choice
Adi stopped on the way, turned to him,
Arjun - I meant the project smirking
Adi took a relief,
Arjun smacked his head, " glass window sab dikhta hai, yahan se, bada bhai ho tera, I saw the way you were looking at her"
Adi - bhai we are getting late, ran out

Here the three months felt horrible to Swayam and Rey, they dwelt in guilt, Swayam was thinking 'Did he drive her so far that she left without any word, how could I be so lost in my world to not realise her leaving, I promised on rakhi to protect her but I never even took stand for her, will I ever get to meet her, will she ever forgive me?" . Rey went back to the period when kriya left, now he was again heart broken but he was the one to be blamed, he's own stupidity caused the damage only if he could have being matured enough to talk to her about the issues, she wouldn't have left.
One day after she left, the gang were backbitching how even after her leaving things are difficult, their friends are worried, swayam who heard it, he felt extreme anger, "enough not a word more against my sister, aren't you all happy that she left, now what problem you have with her, galti meri hai yahan aakar main itna badal gaya mujhe uski takleef dekhe hi nahi, now it's enough mujhe meri behen ke khilaf ek bhi shabad nahi sunna warna I'll leave this gang", Sharon was taken back, she can't let that happen so even she warn the gang not to mention her name, Swayam felt 'shayd yahin baat maine pehle ki hoti toh meri behen mere pass hoti,how could I let her suffer so much without taking her stand  Krishnaji please mujhe ek bar usse mila de,apni galti ki mafi mane ka mauka dijiye'.
The meeting started, Arjun detailed about the project and informed that there'll be 6 members in the team including Taani and Sanvi, Aditya will lead the team. All of them started working on the project, Sanvi and Taani had shared cabin. Soon it was lunch break, Sanvi and Taani sat together for lunch,Sanvi told her about her being orphan, studying in 2nd year of graduation and Taani told her about her being raised by her tauji and taiji, studying final year. Taani got comfortable, she liked the environment of the office, soon the day passed.
Time passed, Taani and Sanvi came close, become friends, even though she had her insecurities, she can't deny the bond, Adi and Taani were more comfortable and liked eachother's company, she could feel his gaze on her, she didn't wanted to acknowledge it or completely reject, it's just that she didn't knew what was happening with her, she had this new feeling which she didn't want to name right now, Arjun was her ideal, she admired his work, Arjun too had develop a fondness for her. Tauji came to Mumbai to meet the Solanki's, they invited him to dinner. He and Taani got ready to meet them. They reached, everyone were in the living room,
Mr.Alok Solanki came to Rishi, hugged him,
Alok - Kya baat hai, dhanya bhag hamare jo Rishi Shekawat hamare ghar padhare
Rishi knowing this would come, shaked his head, "Yaar tume pata hai kaam", but was interrupted,
Alok - Haan hamesha kaam ka bahana tayaar rehta hai
Before he could talk more,his wife Mrs.Disha stopped him
Disha - Bas kare aap,unko baithne toh dijiye,aaye bhaisaab baitheye, yeh ladki kaun hai pointing to Taani.
Taani was looking perplexed,Rishi took her in a side hug,
Rishi - Yeh Taani hai, meri beti
Disha - Arrey Taani kitni badi hogayi hai, cupping her face
Another lady, Mrs.Sneha too came to her, caressing Taani's hairs, "Aparna ji hamesha tumhare baare mein baat karti hai, tum bahut choti thi tab dekhata tume". Taani was smiling widely, got a lil emotional as she was craving for the love and care since she came to mumbai, they took her with them and got seated, Tauji knew she was missing homely feeling so he got her along, Arjun who saw her, "Taani you are Rishi uncle's daughter?", "ji woh mere tauji hai" smiled meekly, "Arjun tum kaise jante ho,Taani ko" asked Alok.
Arjun - "Papa you remember, jo project shekawat's ke saath final hogi hai, the presentation I showed you was prepared by Taani, She's working with us on this project"
Alok - Wow, I was really impressed with the presentation Taani beta, Rishi you should be proud of her, she's really talented, she'll turned out to be the excellent business woman
Rishi - I'm already proud of her Alok, looked at her with pride, Taani too looked at him smiling widely, the pride look from your loved ones is all you need. Aditya couldn't take his eyes off from the moment she entered, at first he was surprised to see her in his home, after knowing he couldn't stop grinning, even he was looking at her with pride, this was not unnoticed by the ladies.
Alok - Main toh introduce karna hi bhul gaya, mera bhai Ritesh ko toh tum jante ho, or yeh hai Sneha, Ritesh ki patni,yeh Arjun hai mera bada beta,'Namaste Uncle, kaise ho aap, bahut time baad milna hua' Arjun greeted with a smile, 'Namaste beta, main theek ho, haan beta kaam itna badh gaya hai', or yeh Avni hai, Arjun ki patni, she too greeted with a smile to both Rishi and Taani,yeh mera dusra beta Aditya, he too greeted, smiled at Taani, she too looked at him, she felt his gaze from the time she entered,yeh dono twins Ritvik or Rishab, Ritesh ke bete". "Or main" came a small, cute voice everyone looked back to see a small girl standing holding her teddy with a pout, adi got up,carried her, "kya hua Aru", "chachu ice cream", "no ice cream Aru, khane ka time hai, pehle khana khao" Avni scolded, "papa" showed her puppy face, "princess pehla khana khayenge then ice cream ok baby" said Arjun softly, adi muttered in her ear, she giggled loudly kissed his cheeks, he too kissed her cheeks, everyone adored them, "yeh hai hamari gudiya Aradhya", "Namaste" joined her tiny hands, all aww, "Namaste gudiya rani, idher aaye aap" adi gave him Aru, she went happily to him, Tauji pecked her forehead, Taani caressed her cheeks, Aru looked at her and smiled, she showed her hands indicating her to take her, Taani smiling widely took her in her lap, Aru sat comfortable, "aapka naam kya hai" aru asked looking at her, "Taani", "aap toh fairy jaise ho,pretty pretty", "thank you, par aap toh sab se zyada pretty ho, ek dum doll jaise" kissed her cheeks, adi was looking at them smiling widely he couldn't stop adoring them. "Chale dinner karte hai" said Disha, "auntyji yeh" Taani gave a packet,
Disha - yeh kya hai beta, looking confused
Taani - Auntyji yeh gajar ka halwa hai
Disha - beta iski kya zaroorat thi
Taani - Auntyji woh Taiji kehte hai, kisi ke ghar pehle bar jao toh khali hath nahi jana chahiye
Everyone looked impressed,
Tauji - yeh halwa Taani ne bana hai
Sneha - arrey waah Taani beta, Aparna ji ne jo bhi kaha tumhare baare mein bilkul waise hi ho
They got seated on dining table,
Anvi - Taani what did you study?
Taani - Ji woh I'm in final year of graduation
Rishab - oh wow same mai or Ritvik bhi, which college
Taani - St.Lious or aap
Rishab - St.Xavier
Anvi - what are your future plans, I mean college ke baad
Taani - after completing with graduation, I'll go for MBA then join Shekawat company
Arjun - that's good
Taani - thank you sir
Arjun - Taani hum office mein nahi hai, so you can call me Bhai, Bhaiyaa
Taani - ji bhaiya meeked,
Anvi - and me bhabhi ,grinning
Taani - sure bhabhi, smiling
Aru - main aapko kya bolau, pouting looked at Taani
Taani - Doll aap kuch bhi bolaye
Aru - fairy, grinning clapped her hands
Everyone chuckled at her
Avni - lagta hai Aru likes you alot, kyu Aru
Aru - yesh I love you fairy kissed her cheeks
Taani - I love you too doll, she too kissed her cheeks
Tauji - Taani bhi bilkul aise hi thi bachpan main,excited kid
Rishab - tab toh Aru badi hoke, Taani jaise banaegi Beauty with Brains
Arjun - I would be really happy, looked at Taani with a gentle smile,
Anvi - Me too, really Taani jab se you have joined, Arjun is being telling about you, I was really curious to meet you, inko impress karna is really difficult, vakai tum mein kuch toh baat hai
Taani didn't knew how to take compliments now it's being so long that people have appreciated her, she simply smiled.
Disha got the gajar ka halwa to everyone,
Alok - waah kya gajar ka halwa bana hai
Ritesh - vakai beta, bahut hi accha bana hai
Ritvik - yeah Taani, it's really yumm
Others too said the same, except adi who had his whole attention on relishing the dish
Arjun - Haan Taani it's too good, mujhe iski recipe mil sakti hai
Taani - bhaiya aap ko cooking aati hai
Arjun - Haan, kyunki kisi or nahi aati, teasing Anvi
Anvi - kuch bhi, aap bas jalte ho
Arjun - main nahi, tumhare cooking se khana jalta hai
Everyone laughed, Anvi smacked his shoulder, Taani was happy meeting this genuine people, she felt the homely vibe.
