FOUR YEARS LATER
*Charlie's POV*
"Harry!" I yelled up the stairs. We were going to be late.
"What?" Harry peeked his head out of our bedroom, a small smile on his face.
"We need to leave!" I sighed, and he laughed.
"I'm coming, don't freak out. I'm the coach, it's not like they can't let us in," he chuckled, and walked across the hall. I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't stay mad at him.
"Mummy, where's daddy?" I heard as a small hand pulled on the hem of my sweater. I smiled.
"Daddy's coming, Scarlet. Don't worry. Go get Nessa and tell her it's time to leave, okay?" I knelt down by my two year old daughter and fixed her unruly hair. It was so much like Harry's. She nodded happily before bouncing off to find my little sister.
I looked back up the steps to see Harry walk down them, our son in his arms. The one year old was sucking his thumb, and stared down at me with large eyes.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Harry asked. "Should we really be taking him to a match full of screaming people?"
"I think he'll be fine. I mean, you already blast music in his ears. He might already be deaf," I joked, and Harry laughed, handing him off to me.
"Daddy!" Scarlet yelled, running into his arms. He picked her up, and I saw Nessa step out of the kitchen, a cookie in her hands. I looked at her funny, and she smiled innocently. That child had a huge sweet tooth.
"Can you get Rylan to quiet down if he starts to cry?" Harry asked Scarlet, speaking of the baby boy in my arms. Her eyes got wide with the new task, and she nodded. "Good. Mommy's going to be too busy staring at me."
I gasped. "Harry!" I scolded, and he laughed, his face turning a bit pink. I resisted the urge to flick him. "Come on, slowpoke. We need to leave now so we'll get there on time."
Harry grinned, and stooped down to give me a peck on the lips. He grabbed his keys, and we made our way to the car. I buckled Rylan and Scarlet in, and Nessa got into her booster seat so she could see out the window. Harry started the engine, and I slid in my seat so we could go.
I glanced in the rearview mirror to look at my sister and my kids. We bought a house, and the boys were our neighbors. They were still best friends as usual, and Zayn and Liam had gotten married to their long-time girlfriends. Zayn's wife was expecting their first child.
I was close with all of the boy's girlfriends and wives, and they loved playing with Rylan and Scarlet. It was nice having some people to talk to that weren't boys.
We lived relatively normal lives, except the fact that the boys were professional boxers. They taught classes on self-defense and fighting tactics, allowing me to help the girls every once in a while. They had started their own business, and we got people from all over the country coming to look at the company.
We were on our way to a match, actually. None of the boys were fighting, but some of Harry's students were. They were his best, and the match was supposed to be really exciting. It had gathered a large crowd already, so we were told by Niall.
When we got there, the security led us right down to the floor. Harry went to meet the boys, and I stood with my kids and Nessa out of the way. We watched as Harry prepped his first student, bouncing up and down and throwing example punches. Rylan bounced in my arms, and Nessa and Scarlet danced around me.
I grinned at Harry from the side, and he smiled. I watched Liam, Louis, Niall, and Zayn wave, and I waved back.
The crowd roared with excitement as the first two people stepped onto the floor. Harry folded his arms, watching his student's opponent to assess his weak spots, just as he would've if he was in a real fight in the gang.
A whistle was blown, and the match began. I watched Harry, just like he had predicted, and was mind blown at how perfect he was for me. He yelled something at his student, and turned to me. He grinned, his dimples popping.
Harry. It all started with him, this big, long, mess of a life I live. Harry, who never gave up. Who never let me slip away.
It all started with the boy I fell in love with. And it just escalated from there.
There were some ups, and plenty more downs than I would've liked. But they got us to where we were, and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.
"I love you," Harry shouted to me when there was a short break. I smiled, clutching our two kids and Nessa close.
"I love you too," I yelled, the grin never leaving my face.
Damn, I was lucky.
