*Charlie's POV*

The rest of the day went on in a blur. People asked for weapon's advice, protection, and just wanted to check up on things.

A few even congratulated Harry on beating Shane.

Naturally, when it was time to sleep, I was exhausted.

Even though I was in Harry's good graces for the time being, he still made me sleep in his room. He told me he didn't want me to 'wander off,' whatever that was supposed to mean.

"Harry?" I asked, clutching a spare pillow.

"Yeah?"

"When are you leaving tomorrow?" I pulled at a loose string in the pillowcase.

"Probably when everyone's up. Should be gone by nine or ten," he said softly, and I gulped.

"I want to go with you," I whispered. "She's my sister, I should have the right."

Harry sighed. "I know, Charlie. But you can't. If anything would happen to you... I don't think I could handle it. I would hate myself."

I let go of the pillow, tossing it to the floor. Instead, I clung to Harry, who played with my hair. "I need to see her," I said. "If - when - you get her back, I have to make sure she's okay."

Harry kissed my head. "I'll make sure she is."

"Please let me come. I won't go in, I'll just wait in a car or something. Just let me go." I pleaded.

Harry's eyes hardened. "Waiting in a car would be the worst idea ever. If one of the Gremlins came out and saw you, they would probably kill you on the spot. You'd be trapped, and no one would be out there to help you."

I stayed silent.

"I'm so sorry, Charlie. I know you want to go, but I can't take that risk." Harry whispered. I remained quiet. Harry sighed. "Get some rest," he said. "I know you need it, especially because of tomorrow."

I grazed my fingertip over one of the smaller, fading bruises on Harry's chest, closing my eyes. He shivered involuntarily, and I drifted right off.

*Harry's POV*

I watched as Charlie fell asleep soon after our conversation was over. I felt terrible, knowing she really wanted, no, NEEDED, to see if her sister was alright.

But she couldn't go. Not to the Gremlin's house.

I tried to sleep. I really did. But every time my eyes would close, I would snap back awake, feeling as if I was falling. My nerves were getting to me.

Somewhere around two in the morning, I went into a shallow, but still restful sleep. When I awoke, people were already getting ready to leave.

Charlie was curled into my side, and I left her asleep. I carefully climbed out of bed, and put a black shirt and jeans on. Carrying my shoes out of the room, I shut the door silently.

I wrote Charlie a note, leaving it on the kitchen counter. I told her the plan in it, and asked her to try to keep her worrying to a minimum. That we would be fine.

Of course, I knew as well as she would that the statement meant nothing. It was only meant to reassure her. Not that it would matter.

"Ready?" Niall asked somberly. He had the same attire on as I did.

"Yeah," I sighed. "As much as I'll ever be."

We climbed into Suburbans, driving to a street far enough away the Gremlins wouldn't be suspicious. Climbing out stealthily, we began part one of our plan.
