***just a heads up there are some pretty graphic fight scenes in this***
*Charlie's POV*
I slid from tree to tree, barely daring to breathe. With my back against the bark of a tall oak, I peered around it to see the house.
Only one light was on, filling nearly the entire first floor. My heartbeat picked up.
I had seen the boys sneak into the house, and it was pitch black then. Lights on was not a good sign.
Something flew into one of the windows from the inside, breaking it. The object landed a few feet away from me, and I picked it up.
A knife shone in my hand, covered in glittering blood.
*Harry's POV*
The house was in chaos. People were fighting so hard it was nearly impossible to tell who was who until you almost drove a dagger through their heart.
The boy I had thrown myself at was younger than me by about three years, so that scuffle didn't last long.
He had held his hands up, spitting blood in my face as I stabbed him, ending his life immediately.
I almost wanted to apologize to the poor boy, seeing as he was barely old enough to be fighting in the first place. But another Gremlin was on me before I could give it a second thought.
People were shouting, crying, and screaming in pain. As the second man jumped on me, my adrenaline finally kicked in, and there was no one else but him and I.
We rolled on the floor, struggling for dominance. He kicked my hand, sending my knife scuttling across the tile. He held his own weapon on my neck, leaning over me and pushing down just enough to break the skin, sending blood dripping down my chest.
Fury boiled inside me, white hot. I brought my knee up, slamming it into his groin. He gasped, but the move wasn't hard enough to immobilize him. He growled, and I rolled him off of me, or tried to. He sliced his knife through the air, and it grazed my side, slicing my shirt and just clipping my skin, sending an angry, thin line of blood to the surface.
I let out a heated roar, throwing a swift uppercut to his chin and catching him off guard. He dropped his knife, and I turned and grabbed it, standing quickly. The Gremlin pulled another dagger from his belt, getting into a protective stance. I was feeling the sting of the cut he had given me, but ignored it. It was barely more than a scratch, soon to scab and nothing close to fatal.
I lunged at the Gremlin, and he easily used my momentum to throw me to the side. I scrambled to my feet, grinding my teeth and narrowing my eyes. He came back at me, and I met him head on, my shoulder taking the blow. I jabbed him in the stomach with my left fist, and he twisted my right arm, knocking the knife out of my grasp again.
He laughed, and I clenched my fists. I eyed the dagger in his hand, and bided my time. We circled each other until he could finally take it no longer. He reached for me, but I expected it, dropping to the floor and sweeping his legs out from under him as I went.
He landed hard, blinking fast as I pinned him to the floor. I raised my fist, and slammed it down into his nose.
Flashbacks from the day before filled my vision, and I repeated nearly the same punches I had then.
Except this man wasn't talking too nicely to being whaled on.
He blocked my hits as best as he could, and tried to get me off of him. I resisted, hitting him harder.
Once, he got a lucky block, knocking me off of him. I rolled onto the floor, scrambling for his knife.
He beat me to it, slicing me across the stomach before I could react.
