Author's note: this poem is about my family heritage. I tweaked a couple things, because I am NOT giving you my real name. Sorry, but that ain't happening folks. Anyway, I will be going to Canada this weekend, so I won't be able to update. I'll update more when I get back. Until next time,

~Freya~

I am from dancing leaves and singing winds
From towering trees and mighty mountains

I am from flowing rivers and Celtic melodies
From the stroke of pencil on paper, creating my image of the world

I am from the shining steel blade
From the wild fairies' leaping dance

I'm from a land of music and stories
From a world of my making

I'm from the Aknal Clan
From the bonds of family and friends, forever intertwined

I'm from the loving guidance of my guardian angel
From my Grandma Maude's watchful care beyond the grave

From falling snowflakes and red roses three
Under the roots of my family tree, I leap out to continue the story

I am from the experiences of my life and the kindness of my loved ones
From a story that continues to unfold, a new chapter each day
