Author's note: This poem just came to me. I just had this adorable idea while I was in a poetry club at school. Enjoy!! Until next time,

"Mama, mama!!" I beg

"Tell me a story!"

Mama smiles down at me.

"Alright. Hush my little one, and listen well..."

Once, in a forest off afar

A fairy child sang a song.

Her voice called the flowers to bloom,

The sun to shine, and banish the gloom.

A dragon flew overhead, and paused

Enchanted by the sound.

Down below, the fairy danced

Placing him in a trance.

He shifted forms, alighting on a branch above the fairy.

"Why do you sing?" The dragon asked.

"Because, it gives those around me the courage to hope, to live." She replied.

They talked and talked, day after day.

The worries and hours flew off and away.

They fell in love, giving hope and courage to all

Through their love, their friendship

Weaving a world of music and song...
