"The ossuary is only a small part of the tunnels under Paris, though. The passageways were a result of endl-" As soon as Noé questioned about the catacombs, Riche's eyes immediately lit up in excitement, and she began detailing the catacombs' history. Y/n wasn't much into it and eventually drowned out her explanations, yawning as she turned around and leaned on Johann as if he were a wall. He didn't seem to mind it; he was used to her using people for support when she was too lazy to stand.

Riche became flustered when she realized she was rambling and almost tripped before Noé caught her. This made the timid Dham blush and stutter.

"Hey, Ugly!" Dante eyed the girl in disgust and kicked her leg, making her yelp in pain. "Don't make bedroom eyes at someone who might be my big customer!"

Y/n pursed her lips as she watched the scene unfold. "Hey, Johann?"

"Yes, dear y/n?"

"Do you think Dante likes her?"

"I've had a similar thought, but we'll just have to wait and see." The man sent her a close-eyed smile and patted the girl's head.

"—I'll have an in with the house of de Sade!"

That sentence was enough to get y/n to straighten up, and she grabbed her friend by the back of his collar. "My, Dante~ Have you forgotten that I have already claimed the house of de Sade?" She smiled cruelly, with her face dangerously close. Of course, she couldn't be angry at him, but intimidation might have him back off her customers, and it was fun. "I have lady Veronica which means that family is mine."

"That—"

"Come, come, you two! No fighting!" Johann gently pried y/n's fingers off the ginger Dham and dragged her away from him.

"What's this, hmm, worried about Vanitas, are we~?" Johann spoke in a sing-song tone.

Noé nodded in response. "Yes, he's acting perfectly normal, so I'm curious about why that might be."

This made y/n recall the expression he held back at Orlok's office. It made her wonder if he, too, had something to do with the chasseurs. Her eyes flickered to Vanitas, happily chatting away with Dante before staring at the ground and walking behind them all.

They were returning from the catacombs, where Dante suspected the chasseurs of hiding. But, unfortunately for him, it had become a tourist attraction, and a Chasseur base most likely would not have been in a crowded tourist spot.

Once they returned to their residential building, the other dhams left for the day. Noé made his way to his room, probably tired, while Vanitas headed to the rooftop.

Y/n suspected the two of departing tonight, and knowing Vanitas was more of a priority than Noé; she decided to sit and wait for him to make a move.

Quite some time had passed, and y/n was starting to get awfully bored. Then, suddenly, she heard slight rustling from further away and opened her eyes to see Noé ready and standing outside the gate, book in hand. She furrowed her eyebrows but stayed in place, waiting for him to do something.

About an hour passed, and the white-haired male had yet to move. She then saw Vanitas making his way off the rooftop, exiting the building not long after. She stood on the balcony railing, preparing herself to jump down if needed.

"You certainly took your time. A little longer, and I would've finished the whole book." Noé commented, slamming his book shut and putting it away in his coat.

"Wha–!?"

"Oh. I don't know where we're going, but don't worry. I took a solid nap!"

"Nobody cares!"
