It's not rare to find Y/N mindlessly looking at her ceiling while writing her essays. In fact it's rarer to find her being able to finish an entire essay in one sitting without being distracted. Her roommate snoring in the background was waiting for her to finish her essay so they could play a game of Monopoly as she promised, but one hour later and with no significant progress, Collei had simply given up and fallen asleep at 10 pm on a saturday.
It is not like this essay was due tomorrow, actually it was due next Wednesday, but having this essay on hold for 3 weeks had annoyed Y/N so she decided to be productive on a Saturday and start it at least.
Closing her eyes a bit she brainstormed ideas of how she could continue from where she stopped, thinking for a good three minutes before she heard a small ding from her phone. She initially ignored it and started to write what she had come up with.
and she heard another ding.
and then another...
and another...
Oh and one more !!
A bit annoyed at what could be distracting her the moment when she started writing again, even tho the quality of the sentences in her mind weren't ones to be exactly proud of, she quickly grabbed her phone to see who texted her.

Y/N turned off her phone and looked back at her half written essay and decided to close it and call it a night. Either way, she had to meet up with her friend tomorrow who happened to be an English major. Hopefully he could help her a bit. Sitting down next to her roommate she closed her eyes and slowly went to sleep with the thought of that person who texted her.
