After a few years have passed
Sadie and Caleb are already 32 years old while their child Avery is already 09 years old, Avery started going to a school called
"Midnights elementary school"
She is a new student here who studies on grade 04 and she is mostly quiet and alone
"Hey there! "
"H-hi? " Said Avery, No one has been talking to her since the very first day she have gone to this school.
AVERY'S POV
What just happened?
No one talks to me here instead of my teachers, Who is this boy anyway?
"I'm Lucas"
"Avery"
"Wanna be friends? "
Lucas offered to handshake, while Avery is just sitting there looking confused
"Uhm, why? "
"Handshake, you don't know that? "
"Oh alright"
Avery accepted the Handshake that Lucas offered to her
Lucas was Avery's first ever friend and they grew closer and closer every single day they would go to the park and swing on the swings while talking to each other.
"Avery! Come on you're gonna be late! "
Said Sadie
"Yes mom im coming! "
Avery rushed downstairs and took her bag
"Where do you think you're going? "
"To school, why? "
"You haven't even ate breakfast yet! "
"I'm gonna be late, and I'm not in the mood, bye! "
"At least get your lunch that i packed you! "
Avery took the lunch Sadie packed for her and says goodbye then immediately left the house
"Avery, over here! "
Lucas waved to try to get Avery's attention
AVERY'S POV
This place is too crowded, too many cool kids. Gosh where the heck is lucas,
Oh wait never mind.
"Coming! " Avery rushed over to Lucas and almost fell but quickly gets her balance
"You alright? "
"Yeah, this place has too much people! "
"Thats what you call an Academy"
"Oh alright"
"Lets head to class before Ms. Sinclaire puts us in detention for being too late"
"Alright"
Avery and Lucas goes to the lockers, after they get their stuff they go to the classroom
"Lucas, Avery, you're late again! "
"Sorry Ms. Sinclaire"
Avery and Lucas apologized to their teacher and quickly sat down
"Alright class, today were gonna learn about Adjectives"
"Ugh, boring. "
"Is there something you wanna share back there Avery? "
"No Ma'am. "
AVERY'S POV
God this is so boring! The teaching here is like what Mr. Haru taught us in grade 4!
When will i ever get out of this plaaaaace??
The school bell rang and all of them got out, including the two bestfriends,
"Lets go to lunch"
"Kk"
They would head to lunch as Avery opens the door, She suddenly slipped and a bucket of water fell on her
"Aaah! "
"Awww, that's what you get for trying to steal my boyfriend! "
"W-what? "
"Come on lukey, Let's leave this bitch alone"
Lucas follows Stacey inside the cafeteria,
Leaving Avery all alone soaked in water.
