After a while, the fire alarm went out
"What's that noise? "
"Fire alarm, come with me. "
Lucas dragged Avery out of the apartments
There was fire on the penthouses, the fire spreaded like crazy
Avery's head started to hurt
AVERY'S POV:
Oh no, my powers are coming out again! I can't hurt another person, I can't handle it!
It's hurting even more..
Suddenly the fire dissapeared
Did Avery just save people's lives?, you might be wondering, how did that happen?
Sadie's mother actually has powers too, yeah, you heard me, POWERS! , Avery must have gotten the powers from her grandma
"A-avery"
"Huh? "
"The fire, it dissapeared.. "
"Oh"
"You're not suprised? "
"No"
"Ok"
"I wanna go to the hospital"
"I don't know the way there"
"But i do, come on let's go"
Avery grabbed Lucas' hand and they drove off to the hospital
After they arrived, Avery got out and slammed the car door shut, she rushed all the way to her mother's room
"Mom! "
Avery rushed to Sadie and hugged her
"A-avery? Is that you my baby? "
"Yes it's me! "
Avery smiled while crying , Sadie hugged her back while she is in bed
Lucas looked at them both
"Who's that? "
"My friend, Lucas"
"Hi Ms. McLaughlin" Lucas said hi while feeling a bit nervous and confused, he didn't know what to say!
"Hello"
Sadie said in a tired voice
After a few hours, Avery and Lucas left and went back to Avery's home
Avery took a shower while Lucas was sitting in the living room reading quietly
After Avery was done showering, she headed to change her clothes, after she changed , they both went to sleep, not in the same room though.
