It was weekend, Sadie and the two others got in the car, While they are in the car, they talked for a while
"Mom, are you excited on going back home? "
Sadie didn't say a word instead, she mumbled something that Avery didn't much heard, but she only heard 'he's gonna make me gone.. ' in a silent voice
"What? Mom are you okay? "
Sadie still didn't say a word, she just nodded and turned to the car window
"Outside.. " Sadie mumbled again
"Mom? Are you okay? Are you not feeling well? "
Sadie turned her head twice as a signal of saying 'no'
After some hours, they finally arrived
"Avery, since your mother is already here, am i gonna go back now? "
"No, you'll still be staying"
"Ok, thanks"
All of them got out of the car and Sadie started to suffer on breathing, Suddenly Sadie blacked out
Lucas and Avery carried Sadie all the way to her room, Avery sat beside her mother and whispered "i hope you'll be ok soon.. "
Turns out she wasn't alright, her fever just got higher and higher , Avery took Sadie back to the hospital after 7 hours of sleeping,
"Ms. Avery"
The doctor called Avery
"Yes?"
"Unfortunately, i have bad news for you"
"What bad news? "
"Your mother. "
"What? What happened to her? Is there something wrong with her? "
"No, but she only has, a few days to live.... She only has 7-8 days to live, after those days, she will suddenly pass out, or maybe pass away"
"WHAT? B-but why?! I thought she has years or months! "
"Her fever got very high and she might not handle it anymore, she almost passed away before when she blacked out when you took her back to your home, i think she had flashbacks of the memories before, that's why. "
"Oh, ok.. Thanks for telling me"
"You're welcome"
The doctor left, and so did Lucas and Avery too
Avery had a tear fall down on her cheeks and she sniffled,
AVERY'S POV
I wish mom and i didn't have to go through this..
Avery started crying, she wouldn't be able to spend the last minute with her mother, because she is almost gone..
They got back home and Avery locked herseld up in her room, her father didn't care one single bit, not even bothering to ask of how they are doing.
