Chapter 13

CHRIS

I woke up from my nap not really wanting to get up but I needed to. I opened my eyes to see Nike knocked out on my bed next to me. He always sleeps with me now since Mayballine stopped. X never bothered to only when he wanted something, but I didn't mind cuz they're like my kids. I had them since they were puppies that's why we're so close.

I got up from my bed to take a shower. I really needed that nap considering the fact I didn't get much sleep last night. I started to take my clothes off starting with my shirt and throwing it somewhere. Beginning to take off my boxers I stopped when someone brushed in my room

" Chrissss " Ari said flopping on my bed and covered her eyes when she saw I only had my boxers on

" eww put some clothes on don't nobody wanna see all that " she said waving her hand

" You the one who invited yourself in here " I said walking to my dresser to find something to wear

" You right, but could you like take me to my house to get my things please " she asked trying to use a little girl voice but didn't succeed

" yea after I get out the shower " I said closing the door behind me

After about 20 minutes in the shower I got out , dried off , then went over to my bed to put my clothes on.

I laughed when I saw she folded my clothes. Even my boxers 👀

" I got her trained already " I said while putting my clothes on

" You ready ? " I asked Ari who was sitting on the couch playing with my dogs. you would think for someone to be scared of them, wouldn't you try to stay away from them? but who knows. I don't understand women sometimes.

She turned around and looked at me blushing hard

" I was just trying to get use to them " she said walking over to me

" Yea okay, but wasn't you the one who was scared of them earlier? " I asked walking to the door that lead to the garage

" Yea but while you were sleep I had no choice but to deal with them since I was the only one here and Red left " she said following me to the garage

" Oh " I said then grabbed my keys to my Range Rover . It was the only car I left here in Atlanta the rest were in Cali. I pressed the button on my keys to unlocked the doors then we got in. The garaged door opens and closes atomically to the scene of my car

I pulled out the driveway onto the road. I knew it would be a completely silent ride once she pulled out her phone. I signed.

" Hand me your phone " I said handing out my hand for her to give it to me. she raised an eyebrow at me

" For what? " She asked

I ignored her and left my hand out. She eventually knew I was gonna win this battle so she gave up and handed me her phone

" What now " she said through greeted teeth

" Any last words " I said glancing at her from time to time still focused on the road

" What? " She asked confused

" That's all? , alright then " I said throwing her phone out the window

" What the fuck Chris why would you do that ?!!! "

" Because it was to quiet in here " I said laughing which made her angrier

" It called a fucking radio " she said hitting me which Lowkey turned me on

" Stop! Before you wake CJ up " I said trying to block her hits. Then she stopped.

" Who the hell is CJ? " She asked. My mouth flung open then I bursted out laughing stopping at a red light

" Girl stop playing " I said turning on the radio. she quickly turned it off

" I'm serious , who is he? " she said not talking her eyes off me as the light quickly turned green

" I'm not sure if you're ready to meet him " I smirked

" Who is he??, I'm so lost" she said putting her hands on her head and leaning back in the seat

" You'll see " I said turning the radio back on

We were just minutes away from my house and I was freakin out. I prayed my dad wouldn't be here.He gets off of work early on Sunday's and that so happen to be today. Chris must have saw that I was shaking a little, so he grabbed my hand and gave me a warming smile. I blushed , but turned my head so he wouldn't see, but I'm sure he did.

We pulled up next to my house and I was nothing more but content. My dad wasn't home and I thanked god cause he already threatened for me not to be here, so I had to make my present unnoticed

" You ready ? " He asked squeezing my hand

" Yea I guess " I said with worry in my eyes
