Chapter 22

I straggly woke up in Austin's bed. I looked around to see he wasn't laying with me. Then I realized I still had my clothes on which was a relief. I grabbed my phone off the dresser and looked at the time to see it was 3 in the afternoon. I never slept that long.

I got out the bed grabbing my shoes, then headed downstairs. Instantly the smell of bacon hits my nose. I stop to put my shoes on then walk in the kitchen to see Christine cooking

" Well I see you finally decided to wake up " she says

" I'm sorry I honestly didn't think I would be staying the night. I guess I was really tired  "

" Well I made you some breakfast even though it isn't morning time anymore" she says going over to a cabinet to pull out a plate

" Thanks, I really appreciate it" I said taking a seat at the island

" No problem, uh Austin should be here by now " she says looking over at the clock

" Where did he go? " I ask as she hands me the plate of food

" School " she goes over to the refrigerator and pull out some orange juice. Wow, it is Thursday and I haven't been in school almost this whole week. I went Monday and that's it 

" Aunt where you at!? " I could tell that voice from anywhere as we hear the door open

" I'm in here boy! " she shouts back

Chris walks in with Red, Arron, Keeis, Mijo, and Jamal

" Hey ma " Arron walks over to Christine and kisses her cheek as everyone starts hugging her. Chris walks over to me and kisses me on the forehead

" Miss me? " he asks taking a piece of my bacon. Right now my face was star struck. All I could think about was what Austin did last night, and now that Chris is here he might find out

" Yea " I say turning my head away from him

" Chris come here " his aunt says. He walks over to her then gets smacked in the back of his neck by her

" Ouch what the fu-! "

" Yea go head and say it, so I could hit you again " she says. Everyone starts clowning him while he rubes his neck because it's on fire

He smacks his teeth " why you hit me? I ain't do anything " he pouts. I hold in my laughter

" Do something again without me knowing and it will be worse " she says making everyone laugh again

" Yo! " Austin voice feels our ears as he walks in the door

" In here Austin! " his mom says. He walks in the kitchen with all smiles until he spotted Chris

" Wassup boy, you look like you just seen a ghost " Chris says walking up to him giving him a hug

" Nothing. How was Vegas? Y'all know y'all could've taken me " he says going over to the rest of the guys

" Nigga yo little tail not ready for Vegas " Red says laughing afterwards

" Yea Bro I don't think you ready to hang out with us men " Aaron says

" Boy you had school in the morning " Keeis says

" Y'all need to stop making fun of my baby " Christine says to them
