Yesterday was crazy all I could think about was why did Ashley have to switch classes , I mean what she do ? ......nothing exactly ! so I don't see the reason why. The real reason is these teachers ain't loyal .... yep that's what it is.

As the day went by I brushed my teeth did all that good stuff ,and now I had to think about what I was going to wear for this stupid concert Ashley had me going to ..I mean is it that serious to dress up for a guy who isn't even gonna notice you?.................."hell yea it is!" a girl would say that I pictured in my mind.
I shook the thought off and went downstairs

When I got downstairs my mom was drinking coffee at the table and my sister in the living room playing Just dance!
Walking into the kitchen I laughed to myself because she couldn't dance to save her life!
I went straight to the refrigerator without saying a word to mom
She looked at me and said "what's your problem?"
"Nothing I can't get no Juice without speaking ?" I said
"Girl I would smack you so hard you would wish you could speak " she said
I rolled my eyes making my way to the steps but of course she 'HAD' to say something
"Um don't you think you need to start getting dressed ?" she asked
"What for I'm leaving around 8:00" I said
"No! we're ALL leaving together at 5:00 what you thought this was?" She asked
"And exactly where?" I already have plans for today with Ashley" I said
"To your uncle jones party he's having a cookout at grandmas house and he would really like for you to be there" she said
"Why the hell does it matter if I'm there for ?" Isn't it an adult party ?" I asked her
"Yea , but He wants you to watch the kids while we drink and stuff you know?" she asked
"No I don't know , but what I do know is that I'm going to that concert with Ashley tonight " I said going upstairs

Walking into my room I slammed my door and flopped on my bed pulling out my phone
I dialed Ashley's number waiting for her to answer. It took her two rings before picking up
"Hello" she said
"Um I have a little problem " I said
"How little?" to where you cant go to the concert ,cuz if it is we can easily get that fixed" she said all serious
"Its not that easy I have to go to my uncles cookout party and he wants me to be there"
"Welllll you gon have to tell him that you can't cuz we going to see my baby daddy and I wouldn't miss it for the world " she said
"Then who's gonna watch the kids"? I asked
"Bitch fuck them kids." "How old is Nia?" ... 13 ma point she old enough to watch them get her to do it" she said
"But you know Nia she wouldn't even listen to me even if I asked her nicely ." I said
"Ugh I have to do everything don't i?" "I'll be there in 15 minutes" she said hanging up
I got up putting my phone on the charger and went to my closet. I threw on a black tank top and some sweatpants with some flip-flops . I put my hair in a braid and called it a day.

20 minutes later there was a knock at the door I knew it was Ashley so I ran down the stairs almost breaking my neck so no one else could get there before me.
When I opened the door Ashely looked me up and down with an disgusted look on her face
"What the fu- "HEY" my dad said cutting her off walking next to me
"Whats up with the foul lan- "what the fuck do you got on Ari?" he asked me
"Is it that bad?" I asked
"Yes" both my dad and Ashely said at the same time
"Well sorry dang y'all rude" I said letting Ashley in closing the door
"Sorry baby girl but I know you don't think you going with me looking like that" he said walking off
"Whatever" I mumbled to myself watching him leave
"Sooooo where's Nia ?" Ashely asked
"Upstairs come on" I said going upstairs as she followed me

We made it to Nia's room where she was watching tv
"Why y'all in here?" she asked looking at us
"You wanna make some money?" Ashely said
I looked at her like she done lost her mind I ain't say nothing about giving her money. If Nia agrees to doing this then Ashley is going to be the one giving up money!
"Depends" Nia said
"Look you already doing to much Ari needs for you to watch y'all cousins at your uncle jones party tonight"Ashely said
"Why can't she do it my mom has her do everything?" Nia said with an attitude
"Look we're trying to go to a concert tonight but we can't if Ari stays" Ashley said
"How much I'm getting paid?" Nia asked holding her hand out
"5 dollars" Ashely said
"Um that ain't enough " Nia said rolling her neck
"Hey! money is money take it or have nothing at all" Ashley said holding out the money
"Fine" Nia said grabbing the 5 dollar bill from her
"Man you make it all look so easy with her" I said to Ashley
"You know how I do" Ashley said walking out as I followed

"Look when you get to that cookout don't forget to tell your sister don't say nothin to your mom" Ashley said the thousandth time
"Ok ok" I get it I said pushing her out the door
"Oh yea! one more thing please ,please, pleeeeease, please don't wear that to the concert" Ashley said with worry in her eyes.
"Bye" I said shutting the door in her face.
