The two were once again walking to Kyungmi's physics class after lunch. It had become their thing even though they both knew Kyungmi didn't need the direction anymore. "You looked way more at peace today."

Kyungmi laughed, pulling out her phone to respond. "Oh for sure. It's way easier having an interpreter."

Mark nodded in agreement, running a hand through his hair. "Honestly I don't know how you do it. Having to pay attention to so many things at once is crazy, I don't think I'd have the attention span for it." Kyungmi chuckled before turning her gaze from him to her phone. Mark saw her hesitate slightly before typing something in. "Do you want to come over after my class is done?"

Mark choked. "Huh?"

The corners of Kyungmis mouth turned up at the reaction. "We can study? Or we can do something else... I'll leave it up to your imagination."

Mark's jaw dropped as Kyungmi gave him a small wave, the smirk not leaving her face as she walked into her physics class.

"And she just walks off! She fucking walks off like what she said didn't just-" Mark waved his hands around frantically, the only way he could properly express this feeling. "And now I'm supposed to meet her at her dorm in 15 minutes and I don't know what to do!" Mark's hands dropped to his side, making the man across from him sigh and stand up.

He's never like liked a girl. He's found them attractive, hooked up with a few even, but having true feelings for one was really freaking him out.

Donghyuck was picking up on this, so he stopped with his jokes and tried to get Mark to calm down. "Mark, listen." Donghyuck placed a delicate hand on Mark's shoulder. "You need to relax."

Mark rolled his eyes at Donghyuck's useless statement but listened nonetheless. "This isn't the first time you're talking together right?" He gradually shook his head. "Ok then you'll be fine. Yes, it may be in a different place than usual, but your conversation isn't going to be much different."

Donghyuck grabbed Mark by the shoulders, hauling him out the door. "Now go! You're going to be late for your little date."

"Donghyuck, wait!"

slam

He kicked the door annoyed, begrudgingly making his way to Kyungmi's dorm room. After Kyungmi dropped a bomb on him before class, she texted Mark her dorm number which was coincidentally the room right below him.

He eventually made his way down the stairs, coming face to face with door 318. "Okay, Mark you can do this." He took a deep breath, but before he could press it the door swung open and someone came barreling into him. "Woah!"

He made contact with the floor admitting a gasp from the boy above him. "Oh my god I'm so sorry!" He scrambled to put down his stuff and help Mark up with an apologetic look. "I didn't know anyone was out here." Mark brushed off his clothes, shaking his head. "It's okay Chenle, you didn't mean to."

Chenle did another once-over of Mark before breaking out into a smile. "You look nice, have fun on your little date!" Mark's jaw dropped as Chenle ran off with a little wave.

Eventually, he snapped out of it and slowly walked into the house just to see Kyungmi on the couch watching tv. Mark closed the door shut before walking over to tap on her shoulder.

Kyungmi turned around and greeted Mark with a smile so bright he had to stop himself from melting.

She gave a little wave, ushering him over to the desk in her room. She started pulling out her books causing Mark to do the same.

After they were both situated, Mark turned to her ready to start. "So? What do you need help with?"

A groan left Kyungmi as a scowl graced her face. "Literally everything."

Mark shook his head slightly, giving her a fond smile. "I'm going to need you to be more specific Kyungmi."

Kyungmi clicked her tongue, pointing to a list of textbook questions. Mark gave them a slight read-over, quickly realizing how difficult these questions were. "Quantum mechanics?! Why the hell are you in this class? It has nothing to do with molecular biology."

Kyungmi shrugged bitterly. "I needed an elective and this was one of the last options."

Mark took this class last semester and barely made it out alive. "Okay well, let's start 'cause this is going to take a while." Kyungmi let out a scoff but started paying attention anyway.

Kyungmi definitely didn't give herself enough credit, especially when it came to a class this difficult. She was grasping the concepts better than he thought.

But Mark was gonna be honest, he's having a bit of trouble concentrating.

Kyungmi has to read lips, meaning she was always staring directly at you, specifically your mouth. She was always very attentive and looked genuinely interested in what you were talking about. Mark had to learn to pace himself when speaking because he often goes on tangents that even hearing people have trouble keeping up with.

He had thought he had gotten over making a fool of himself whenever Kyungmi looked his way but he was proven wrong today.
