Kyungmi was sitting on her bed, copying a new number into her contacts.

Ever since her outing with Mark, she couldn't stop thinking about how she could help him with his homesickness.

After some internal brainstorming, she decided to ask Donghyuck for Mark's brother's number to hopefully get a recipe for something his mom made.

Kyungmi
Hello

Johnny
um hi?
who is this?

Kyungmi
Oh sorry
I'm kyungmi
I know your brother

Johnny
omg
are you the kyungmi

Kyungmi
Maybe?
I don't exactly know what you mean

Johnny
mark never shuts up about you
the man talks about you more than soccer and that says a lot

Kyungmi
You're kidding

Johnny
I wish I was
I love him but he talks too much sometimes
anyway
no offence but why are you texting me

Kyungmi
Mark is really homesick and I wanted to ask for one of your moms recipes
He was going on and on about how much he missed them
It made me sad and I want to cheer him up

Johnny
omg I wish my boyfriend was this sweet

Kyungmi
Uh we're not dating?!?

Johnny
but you want to be

Kyungmi
That's not the point right now
I need a recipe that's easy
I can't cook for shit

Johnny
hmm I can send you a cookie recipe
our mom always made those for special occasions

Kyungmi
That would be awesome
Thank you so much

So... Kyungmi was in a slight predicament.

She got the recipe from Yeonjun, but it made absolutely no sense. At first she thought it was just her and her incompetence in cooking, but she showed Chenle and even she didn't know what it meant.

She contemplated texting Johnny again for further details but she didn't want to bother him again.

She then remembered Mark mentioning that Jisung loved to bake. Her, Chenle and Renjun were dumbfounded that someone like Jisung liked to bake, but they didn't question it as the others at the table seemed unfazed.

Kyungmi decided to bite the bullet and ask Jisung.

Kyungmi
Jisung

Jisung

Kyungmi

Kyungmi

Kyungmi was struggling. She knew she was bad at cooking, but she didn't think she was this bad.

Even with thorough step-by-step instructions from Jisung, she was still somehow screwing them up.

One batch burnt completely, one batch was too liquidy and spread out completely, and her last batch was ruined because she mixed up salt and sugar.

She was supposed to go over to Marks soon to give these to him but she didn't know if she could pull it off.

As she stood in front of the oven, covered in flour, she started coming up with random excuses to give her more time.

She was thinking she could say she was sick, but she was sure Mark was going to come and make sure she was okay. She could also say she was volunteering again which might scare him off, but Mark was too curious and would probably press for more details.

Her most recent batch was in the oven right now, so she only had one more shot of these cookies working out.

Kyungmi was so focused she didn't even notice the commotion going on behind her.
