After walking around for a little while they found themselves wandering around a park.

Kyungmi would've loved this moment if it weren't for the fact that Mark was scaring her.

Mark was silent. Mark was never silent.

And Mark was easy to read, he was always someone who wore his heart on his sleeve. He was someone who loved hard but fell hard too.

Mark had expressed many times that he hated that part about himself, but Kyungmi made sure to shoot that down as soon as it started.

Sometimes she admired the way that Mark could express himself and she's told Mark that many times.

So to sum it up, Mark was a talker, and when he wasn't talking, it meant one of two things.

One, he was insanely focused. Kyungmi knew it couldn't be this one. Mark looked ridiculously unfocused right now.

Two, he was nervous. Mark tended to overthink, causing him to go into shutdown mode. This was the one Kyungmi was betting on.

Before Kyungmi could figure out what to say, Mark abruptly stopped in the middle of the path, startling her.

Kyungmi slowly turned to face him with a confused look. She was about to get her phone out before Mark pushed her hand down, only furthering her confusion.

"Kyungmi, I have something to tell you." Sensing the seriousness, Kyungmi fully faced Mark paying full attention to what he was about to say.

"I..." Mark kept bringing his hands up but ultimately failed to start signing. His hands were shaking so much, he had no idea what was wrong with him.

Kyungmi noticed Mark's shaking hands and grabbed the in between her own, silently telling him to take deep breaths. Kyungmi was giving him an encouraging look that carried nothing but fondness.

Mark took one look into Kyungmi's eyes and realized why he likes her so much. The love and care that they held were enough to calm him enough to be able to form coherent sentences.

Mark took a breath as he slipped his hands out of Kyungmis, it was now or never. "I like you." Kyungmi's hands, which were hovering in the air, dropped right to her side. "I like you so much Kyungmi I don't think you understand."

Mark had planned out what he was gonna say. He practiced for what felt like hours, making sure he could get it right.

Poor Donghyuck was subjected to hearing all the different versions of the speech, along with Mark's many breakdowns. "I love the way that your eyes turn into little moons when you laugh, whenever you're happy your face lights up and your eyes sparkle."

Just thinking about Kyungmi made him smile. "The fact that you help so many people, even if it's doing weird jobs, is amazing." Mark recently learned that Kyungmi also volunteered in the fish breeding industry... that one he didn't even try to question.

"Whenever I'm talking you give your undying attention to only me and it makes me feel so special." Mark talks a lot, he's aware of that. Sometimes it feels like people aren't truly listening to him, as if they're getting bored with all his useless chatter. Kyungmi never made him feel like that. He felt that even if he was talking about something that Kyungmi had absolutely no interest in, he was still given her full attention.

Mark did question her about this once, and Kyungmi said that 'anything said by you is automatically important to me, you deserve my undivided attention.'

You better believe Mark came barreling into his dorm, effectively scaring the shit out of Donghyuck, going on a mile tangent about what Kyungmi said.

Honestly bless Donghyuck, Mark bothers him so much and he never complains.
