"How could you forget where the house you grew up in is sir? Isn't that like the one thing you should remember sir?" Emer judged her Master not so silently.
"Oh come on Emer I am not that young, I have my limits you know. I don't have the memory of a child like you, sucking everything up like the cloth of a kitchen sink." Valens felt offended by his little child. "At least I can do grown-up things."
"Hey! It is not my fault that we are lost, and of course, you can do grown-up things, you are an old man after all."
Authors Note: I am trying to build character and I feel like this is one way to do it. Emer is no longer a timid little thing, she is a sassy little 4-year-old!
