Angel threw dirt on her clothing, trying to look like she had just been through a lot. She wasn't one for acting, but when it came down to it, she was a star. Thoughts ran through her head, causing her to cry, perfect for the seen she is setting. She had kicked chairs, ripped drapes, and destroyed Emer's room. All for the sake of setting up her master plan.

"I'm ho-" the door slammed shut as Valens entered the house which is now in shambles. "What happened here! Emer! Angel! Where are you!" His heart began to pace, where were his maid and his little slave child?

"Sir, is that you?" Angel begins to 'cry', "it was terrible, sir, they took her." She sniffs, wiping away her tears.

"Who?" Valens begins to panic.

"I'm sorry sir, I couldn't stop them, please forgive me."

"They took who, Angel, who?" His voice began to stumble, quake in fear and anger.

Angel looked down at her feet and started to cry once more. "Emer." Looking up she screamed, "someone took Emer!

"Someone did what!" He screamed in anger. "Who, where are they now? I want to give them a piece of my mind!"

"I don't know sir, all I know is that they took her from the back. Whomever they are, they must be in the woods."

"Then let us go." Valens was determined to find his little slave child, and he will not stop until he gets her.

"Go?"

"Yes, they stole my property, and I want it back."

He called her a property, he wants her to be human, but the way he talks about her made Angel feel like, he isn't what her husband said he is. "But Valens, she's not the only one in the world. You can go get another one. Like you said you have to money for it."

"I may have the money for it, but they are not her!" His voice became quiet like he was trying to hold back tears. "They're, not my sweet little Emer Sandou." He looked up from the ground, his face became red with rage. This was not the action that Angel expected, she thought he would agree, but she got something very different. She got a sad old man wanting his favored toy back. The maid was in shock as she watched Valens Burnhard, her boss, rummage around looking for something, something that may help him find his sweet little Emer. "Did you see anything?"

"Not really, all I saw was them running into the woods, I chased them, but I fell, losing them." She was obviously lying, anything to keep her safe.

"Not even a person?"

"All I saw was a shadow, I guess it did kind of look like a female."

Valens opened the door while he held a knife. "Alright let's go, let us go and find this little devil who has taken something of mine."
