Jinx opens the passenger door and climbs in. Five smiles while he revs the engine and there they speed off into town. Jinx clutches her seat and closes her eyes. The memories of when Reginald tested her in high speed machinery flooding back to her. Five sees this and slows the car down to a reasonable speed. "Sorry," Five says, his eyes on the road. Jinx relaxes her tensed up state and looks at his feet. There were wooden blocks to help him reach the pedals. At the sight of this she chuckled slightly. "Oh come on like you would've done better," Five says catching her gaze. "In fact I bet you I could," Jinx replied, challenging. Five stopped the car abruptly and Jinx had to make a shield from her bracelet to stop herself from hitting the dashboard. Five motioned for Jinx to come to the drivers seat and she spatial jumped over to him, as he spatial jumped over to her seat. Jinx took a deep breath and clicked on her bracelet. "Got a feeling that I'm going under. But I know I'll make it out alive. If I quit calling you my lover, and move on," Jinx sings while she makes a charm to make the pedals move on her command. "You watch me bleed until I can't breathe, shaking. Falling onto my knees. And now that I'm without your kisses, I'll be needing stitches." The car sped off and she looked at Five's shocked expression. She laughs and opens a window letting her hair flow in the wind. "How did you do that?" Five asked, taking her wrist and looking at her bracelet. In all his years on earth, even in the apocalypse, he has never seen this bracelet. "And where did you get this?" Jinx shook his hand off of her wrist and returned her hand to the steering wheel. "Father gave it to me on my 10th birthday. He taught me how to use it but most of the spells and charms I taught myself. Father always told me the bracelet was one of a kind." Jinx flicked her wrist and the car accelerated.

Back at home, only Allison and Luther are left. Allison had finished packing and went to Luther's room, looking to continue their conversation from earlier. She found him sitting on the sloped roof outside his window. "You're still here?" Luther asked. He was holding up the Eye of Anubis making the sky break into thousand little prism parts. "Just waiting on my car.  Want some company?" Luther nodded and scooted over slightly so that she could sit next to him. As she sat down she saw the moon shining brightly in the night sky. "What's it like up there?" Allison asked, looking at the moon. "Quiet, cold." Luther said. He shivered slightly at the thought of the moon. He had been there alone for quite some time and he didn't wish to go back soon. "I haven't seen you use your powers since we've been back," Luther said, trying to get something out of her. "The last time it didn't turn out so hot. Careful what you wish for, blah blah blah,"  Allison said, playing with her hair. "You should come to Hollywood sometime," Allison said as she saw her limousine pulling up at the gate. "You know I can't." Luther looked down at his gem. Allison patted his shoulder and proceeded into his room. "We'll see each other soon, right?" Allison asked before she left his room. "Maybe next time I'll meet Claire," Luther said, smiling at Allison. Allison returned the smile and left the room, going back down to get her luggage. Luther looked at his gem once again before throwing it off the roof making it shatter when it reached the ground. He wiped his cheeks before returning inside. In the foyer Allison took her baggage and looked at the painting  of her seven siblings together. Next to that was a painting of Jinx, in her academy outfit. She smiled slightly as she could see Jinx's devilish smile. Reginald always despised that the children smiled in their portraits, but that didn't stop Five nor Jinx from smiling in their portraits it seemed.

...

Back to Jinx and Five's expedition for coffee, technically Five's mission for coffee. "Stop!" Five yelled as Jinx brought the car to a halt. "Bit of warning next time?" Jinx asked as she opened the door and looked at her surroundings. There was an illuminated board saying 'Griddy's Doughnuts' "This is- sorry was, the best place to get coffee when I was your age," Five said walking past her. You're my age? Jinx thought to herself but decided to keep that question to herself, not wanting to make Five mad. "You coming or what?" Five asked, holding the door open for Jinx. Jinx looked around her once more, thinking she heard some strange noise, before walking off to Five. Five closed the door behind them, not noticing the armed men coming out from behind one of the cars. "Targets in sight sir," one of the figures told the leader. "Give them a five minute headstart." The leader grinned and cocked his gun. On the inside of the building Five now took a seat at the counter and motioned for Jinx to come sit next to him, and so she did. There was a middle aged man sitting next to the two of them and the rest of the diner was empty. Five rang the service bell until Jinx took the bell from him. She shook her head at him, getting irritated by the sound. A few seconds later, a tired looking waitress came out with a notebook and went to the middle aged man for his order first. "A strawberry filled doughnut please," the man replied. "And for the children? A glass of milk maybe?" The waitress smiled tiredly at Jinx and she smiled back. "The kid wants coffee. Black." Five said giving his signature evil grin. "I'll take a glass of milk please," Jinx replied at the waitress, not trying to trouble her further. She nodded and went to the back to get their orders. Five looked at the man and asked him, "You know your way around the city?" The man chuckled slightly before answering him, "I would hope so. I've been towing cars for the past 20 years."
