"Look, Allison. I'm really sorry for freaking out about the abortion. It's your choice and I shouldn't have interfered." I said
Allison sat across from me in the small coffee shop by her apartment.
"It's okay. I'm really sorry for upsetting you like that. I should've known better."
"It's okay." I smiled "So are you still going to. You know."
"No. I told Marc and he said we can try to raise the child together... He offered me a job doing the lights and audio for you and Braden. It pays pretty well. I'm thinking it might actually work."
"That's great!" I laughed
I sipped my tea slowly, I hadn't told her yet and I didn't know how to bring it up...
"Look. Audrey I'm really sorry, I didn't know and I've hurt you deep down. If you ever want a surrogate or-"
"Thanks, but it won't be necessary." I said
"Oh. Did-"
"I'm pregnant!" I giggled
"You are?!" She asked with a large grin playing on her mouth.
"Yeah, we found out last week. We get to find out the gender in two months."
"When are you due?" She asked
"July eighth! What about you?"
"July first!" She squealed "They're going to be best friends I already know it."
"I'm sure they will be. We should start buying stuff too." I said "WE SHOULD HAVE A JOINT BABY SHOWER!"
"Oh my God this is just. Yes."

Two weeks later (December)"Morning, Aud." Braden rolled to my side of the bed and gently placed his hand on my growing baby bump.
"Morning, Braden." I stretched. "How did you sleep?" I asked
"Great. What about you and little- we need baby names." He realized.
"I'll pick girl, you pick boy?" I asked
"Adam for a boy." He said quickly.
"Well that was fast." I grinned "How about Lila for a girl."
"I love it!" He said getting off of his side of the bed and coming over to mine to help me up.
"We need to tell your parents." I said
"Okay. Wait a minute I'll be right back." He left the room and came back with his black laptop.
He turned it on and clicked on skype.
"Wait don't they have to be online?"
"They're always online." He said
We skyped his dad first and he was ecstatic to hear about it. He was going to spoil our grandchild rotten.
Then we skyped his mom and she got a little emotional, she was so glad when I called her mom because she knew I didn't like my parents. She was overall extremely happy about it.
"Well that was a success." Braden said "Do you want to tell your parents?" He asked rubbing my baby bump.
"Can we do it in person?" I asked.
"Of course." He smiled and we both got dressed and ate breakfast before driving to my mothers house.

I knocked on the door patiently knowing hat she was either drunk, high, or hungover. A beautiful woman appeared at the door.
"Hello, do you know if Ms. Taylor still lives here?" I asked.
"Audrey Elena Taylor, do you not recognize your own mother?"
"Mom?" She nodded and pulled me into a one sided hug. "You look... Great." I said
"I decided to sober up. What about you and the..." She whispered "Boy who wanted to bang you freshman year."
Braden started laughing.
"Well, we're married." I said
Braden was still laughing.
"Oh." She said "What's his problem?" She asked pointing to Braden.
"Aud, she's not really lying..." He said. "I had a really big crush on you back then."
"Awwww." I said "But anyways, mother. Braden and I have some news for you."
She motioned us in to the clean house and we sat down in the living room.
"Can I get you some coffee or-"
"Mom, I'm pregnant."
A sad look began to play on her eyes.
"Audrey, you're ruining your life." She said
"No. I'm not." I said
"Do you know how old I was when I had you?" She asked "Nineteen! and it ruined my life! by the time I was thirty I was an alcoholic divorcee."
"That's not going to happen with us." Braden said
"Braden, look at your parents! They're divorced too." My mother said.
"Mom I thought you'd at least be a little happy for us. Seeing as I've avoided you for almost six months now. I thought you'd give us some moral support, obviously I was dead fucking wrong."
"Audrey Elina Taylor don't you ever use language like that in my house!"
"You're not my mother anymore. You can't tell me what to do, and my name is Audrey Barrie. For Christ's sake! You don't support me with anything!"
I grabbed Braden's hand and we walked back to the car and drove to my fathers house.
We went up to the door and knocked. A skinny blond in a slutty dress opened the door and immediately set her eyes on Braden.
"Umm is my father here?" I asked.
"Depends. Are you the little bitch who went on tour?" She asked.
"I guess?"
"Right this way." She led us into the small house and into my fathers office.
He looked up and smiled.
"Audrey!" He got up and tightly hugged me.
"Careful." I said
"What brings you here?" He asked holding me at arms length.
"Braden and I have some news." I said.
"Braden Barrie? Is that you?" He nodded "You've grown into quite the young man." He said
"Thank you sir."
"So what's the news? I already heard about the marriage." He gave me a solemn look. My parents are good with that.
"We're pregnant!" I smiled.
"That's great!" He said looking down at my small baby bump.
"You're a lot more supportive than mom was."
"Ehh. Braden's always been a good kid, except for your freshman year." He scowled at Braden.
"Seriously, what is it with freshman year?!" I almost yelled.
But Braden just laughed.
"I'll tell you when you're older." Braden said.
"Braden, we're married."
"I'll tell you next year." He said, I groaned
"So you're not disappointed with me?" I asked my father.
"I've had too many girlfriends to count since the divorce. If you aren't disappointed in me, I have no right to be disappointed in you."
"Thanks dad."
Braden and I left, avoiding the new slut and went home.
