Bittersweet// Taekook

Chapter 21

Taehyung was tired. Continuously vomited and the headache was killing him. And he felt slight dizziness too.

Jungkook was worried and mostly he was scared. Taehyung looks like a walking corpse. His continued vomiting made him so scared. The boy was alright 12 hours before. Too eager to marry him. But now can't even stand on his feet.

Taehyung leaned on Jungkook's chest and the elder hugged him tightly. Taehyung was weak. He was hungry and can't eat anything. He tiredly laid on the other's chest and Jungkook patted his back to make him calm down.

Reaching the hospital, Jungkook already took an appointment. When they entered the doctor's cabin, Taehyung rushed to the washbasin and started to vomit. The doctor looked at him and stood up. He stroked his back. After washing his mouth the doctor gave him a glass of water and he drank it.

" So, what's happened "the doctor looked at them and Jungkook sighed. Taehyung tiredly leaned over him.

" Exactly what happened I don't know doctor. He was perfectly alright and yesterday he had some drinks. And vomited yesterday.

But this morning he was vomiting and had a dizzy headache. And whenever he ate anything, vomit later. "

The doctor nodded and told them to do some tests. While waiting for the results, Jungkook called their parents and Mrs. Kim was so scared. She insisted to come but Jungkook assured her that everything will be fine.

When he was on his phone the nurse called them.

The doctor looked at Tae from top to bottom.

" Is he married" A little blush appeared on his face?

Jungkook nodded his head. The doctor looked at Tae and again at the file.

" Isn't he too young to marry" it's a genuine confusion. But it triggered the weak tiger. He looked up and glared at the doctor.

" It's my choice to marry. I am not underage. I am of legal age to marry my love and you just consult your patient and- "

" Taehyung " Jungkook called sternly. Tae immediately shut his mouth and looked down.

Kook looked at the doctor and gave an apologetic smile.

" Well, did you guys hear about couvade" the doctor looked at the young couples.

Jungkook's face turned into bright red and Taehyung immediately snapped his head up.

" I- I am covid positive " the elders looked at him with wide eyes. Doctor Just chuckled and Kook facepalm.

" Not covid son, it's couvade. " The doctor shook his head.

" Means am I going to die. Oh no... I just got married. " He looked at Jungkook with his teary eyes.

" I don't wanna die yet Jungkookie hyung. " Tae whined. Jungkook controlled himself, not to hit that boy in front of the doctor.

" Calm down son. It's just a sympathetic pregnancy. It usually happens when men are physiologically or psychologically greatly affected by their partner's pregnancy. Hence the men would adopt the pregnancy symptoms instead of the carrier. I say your wife is so lucky. "

Jungkook smiled widely. He looked at Tae with teary eyes. Who was sitting there with a blank face?

Tae didn't say anything. He just stared at the doctor recollecting what the hell is the other just said.

His gaze fell on Jungkook and he asked. " So he said that I am vomiting because Kookie hyung is pregnant. " Jungkook just nodded. He stared back at the doctor.
