Bittersweet// Taekook

Chapter 32

Jungkook came out of the bathroom upon hearing the loud cries of his baby boy. He could hear his husband loudly calling for him and Mrs. Bai.
Jungkook panicked after hearing everything.

He ran downstairs only to see Tae  holding the baby in his hands and shouting for help loudly. Seeing the expression on his beloved's face, he got scared.
But he furrowed his brow upon seeing Mrs. Bai and the other servants. They were holding their laugh. He rushed towards them, and Taehyung had already started shedding tears.

"What happened?" Jungkook asked, taking the baby in his hands. He sensed the wetness on his hands and saw that his baby had wet himself.

"He peed on me." Jungkook whipped his head towards the younger man, hearing his whining voice.

"He did what?" Jungkook asked with a confused voice.

"He was squirming slightly on the mat, so I picked him up, and he peed on me immediately," Taehyung said, showing his tee.

Jungkook looked at the people gathered there. They were trying their hardest to control their laughter.

"Are you being serious right now, Tae?" He asked in disbelief.

Taehyung just pouted and looked at the others. Seeing his face, Mrs. Bai couldn't help but laugh loudly. Seeing her laughing, others also started to laugh. Seeing others laughing at him, Tae  got furious and stomped his feet, rushing outside.
Jungkook stared at the retreating figure and smiled softly. He took his child upstairs to change his clothes.

After giving the child a bath, Jungkook stood up from the bed with the child. He walked towards the window, rocking the baby. He looked outside the window and saw his husband talking on the phone. He stared at him for a long time, with a small smile on his face.

Taehyung was trying to call his best friend/brother-in-law, but not a single call was connected. He called his mother-in-law and found out that he had not been home for the last 3 days.

Taehyung took a deep sigh and entered the home. He saw his husband sitting on the sofa with their baby in his hand. The baby was sucking on his thumb and eagerly waiting for the bottle that was in Jungkook's hand.

Tae  looked at the elder, and he seemed to be lost in thought, staring straight ahead with the feeding bottle suspended in mid-air.

Tae  followed the elder's gaze and saw that Jungkook was watching the news.

"FAMOUS BUSINESSMAN MR. CHOI SUNGMIN'S BODY WAS FOUND YESTERDAY MORNING. HE HAD BEEN MISSING SINCE LAST WEEK. HIS BODY WAS DISCOVERED YESTERDAY BY SOME COLLEGE STUDENTS. HE WAS BRUTALLY TORTURED, AND THERE WERE MANY FRESH AND OLD WOUNDS FOUND ON HIS BODY.

FORENSICS SAYS THAT THE KIDNAPPERS TOOK HIS EYES WHILE HE WAS STILL ALIVE. HIS FINGERS AND TONGUE WERE CUT OFF."

Jungkook and Tae  looked at each other with horror. Unable to hear the rest, Tae  took the remote from his hands and changed the channel.

He looked at the younger one who was sitting with a horrified face.

"Why?" Jungkook asked the younger one.

"Must be his enemies, hyung. He does have so many enemies. Maybe someone had enough of him," Tae  said with a disgusted face.

Tae  stopped him from having a brief conversation about the incident. He said he doesn't wanna hear anything about the matter.

"And yeah, Hyung, did Jimin contact you?"

Jungkook shook his head and picked up his phone to see if the other called or messaged him.
