By the time Berk came into view, the sun was already racing its way through the sky. In the past three years Berk has slowly become a dragon-Viking utopia. So much so that we've had to expand out into the ocean and higher into the sky just to make room for all the new Berkians.

As we got closer to the island, Hiccup and I strayed from the other riders to give the new dragons a tour.

"This is Berk. Your new home away from home. A stunning, one-styled, all-expense-paid dream destination. So settle in and let your worries melt away! The service here soars, the cuisine's fiery, and the locals are as colorful as you get." I said with a happy air about me as we glided through the village from above.

The Crimson Goregutter was the most interested in the tour, whereas the other rescued just followed behind him.

"Any run of the mill paradise boasts beaches and sunshine..." Hiccup took over as we passed over some Vikings that hopped on dragons to get across the village to their homes. "...Well, not us. We've got something no one else can touch. We, my friend, have dragons. Lots - and lots - of dragons!"

The Goregutter sat on a pole that stuck out of a statue below us. The pole spun around the statue downward. Vikings and dragons alike ran out of the way as the dragon got closer and closer to the ground, finally landing on Berk after a minute or two. Hiccup then landed a few feet away and I dismounted his back.

"Gang, meet our latest Berkians." I said as I removed my helmet, shaking out my hair. It only came to my shoulders now, whereas a year ago, it rested against my lower back.

The Crimson Goregutter then roared as all the rescued dragons landed and a couple of Berkians came to greet them all.

"Welcome to paradise, mate!"
"Oh, aren't you a beauty?"

Hiccup nuzzled my side and I smiled and scratched his head in return as Snotlout came over, pushing people out of his way as he did.

"Ah, you're welcome, you're welcome. I took on, like, a hundred trappers- a, a thousand trappers!" He fibbed in his usual bragging way.

"All with burning undies." Ruffnut said with a laugh as she and Tuffnut joined us.

"My thick, full beard almost caught on fire." Tuffnut complained as he stroked his 'beard', which was just his hair tied together to mimic a beard since he has failed to even get stubble to grow on his face in all these years.

"Ugh. Just, just stop." Ruffnut said with a grossed out look as she pushed Tuffnut.

Valka, Nanna and Fishlegs then joined us and Snotlout immediately went to the chieftess.

"So, uh, Hiccup's mom, any notes on my bone-crushing assault, or was it pretty much perfect?" He asked, trying to suck up to her again.

Snotlout had been trying to impress Valka for the past three years, but the results he gets are never what he expects. Which I for one am glad about. It's bad enough that he's about to legally be my cousin and I doubt Valka would go for a person the same age as her own son.

"Oh, it was...indescribable. And please, call me Valka. It has been three years." Valka said as her attention was broken away from the dragons.

Snotlout smiled with a nod to himself, as if that was a win for him. "First name basis."

"In my opinion, we could probably do with training a lot harder. That was pretty sloppy." Nanna said with her arms crossed, then once she knew all of us heard her she left to find Heather.

"Nanna does have a point. Perhaps you all rely a little bit too much on your dragons and not enough on one another." Valka said and Hiccup and I gave her looks which made her chuckle. "Well, besides you two. You can't really help being dragons. My point still stands though."

"See? That's exactly what I was saying. Just, listen up, guys!" Snotlout said, yet again trying to get Valka to take notice of him. "Yeah, your mom's super impressed with me. I'm like the son she always wanted." He bragged to Hiccup and I as Valka's attention went back to the dragons.

We glared at him and he got a whack to the head from Hiccup's tail.
"Ow! Rude!" Snotlout gritted out as he rubbed his head.

Hiccup huffed out steam as his tail made its way back behind him. "That's what you get for hitting on her. Also, she may have birthed me, but she is in no way my mother."

Snotlout raised a brow. "Uh, I didn't understand a single thing you just said cuz. Don't know the dragon tongue, remember?"

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "He said that's what you get for flirting with the chieftess and just because she birthed him, doesn't mean she is his mother." I translated for my mate, who nodded and crooned in approval.

"Yeah, yeah, don't get your scales ruined." Snotlout said with a roll of the eyes.

Our attention was broken when the ground began to shake. I then noticed it was because Fishmeat was playing with the Goregutter and my eyes widened as I tried to keep steady from the force of the jumping and from the Goregutter's tail knocking into things.

"Mind your heads!" A Viking shouted as we all had to duck to keep from getting hit by the tail.

Eventually, the dragon hit a building, which knocked out other ones that were in stacks in a row, all of them collapsing into the ocean. Hiccup and I winced and I bit my lip as we took in the damage.

"You know what would be nice to have?" Gobber asked as he hobbled his way over to us. "An Alpha to keep the order."

I sighed and looked down. "I know Gobber, but we've been doing fine without one for eight years."

"Aye, but the more dragons you lot bring back, the tougher it gets to keep the order. Even if the dragons respect the two of ya." He explained as he pointed to Hiccup and I with his prosthetic.

As his words sunk in an idea came to mind and I could tell the same did for Hiccup as we locked eyes and nodded. He then roared at the Goregutter, who turned and bowed in apology to us.

"Thank you my love." I thanked as I rested my forehead against his with a purr, feeling his own purrs vibrating against me.

"And where do you suppose we put these ones?" Gobber asked as he gestured to the new dragons.

"Oh, we'll make room for them Gobber. Don't you worry." Valka said with a smile as she scratched a dragon's head.

Gobber then took notice of the Hobgobbler that sat nearby and his eyes widened in fear. "Aah! You brought back a Hobgobbler. They're a bad omen. We're cursed."

I covered my mouth to keep from laughing and Hiccup chuckled.

"Nonsense. What harm could he do?" Valka asked as she picked up the dragon and examined him. "No injuries. They're all a little shaken, but otherwise healthy. Now, who's hungry?" She asked as she locked eyes with the dragon.
