The Three Broomsticks were bustling with life, especially with the cold outside the stone walls that encouraged broody and hearty men and women alike to engage in a share of alcohol despite being only in the afternoon. I even suspected that I saw a few staff from Hogwarts in the seat, and when they looked around the pub as if noticing my eyes on them, I quickly looked away, pretending not to see the scene before me.

A worker walked up to me, passing me a pouch of shimmering green powder. I thanked him, walked up to the fireplace, and tossed a handful in the fire, my voice drowning against the conversations in the pub as I said the address. Shutting my eyes tightly, I stepped into the green fire.

Feeling the fire clear out, I looked around the pub and felt the air settle from its stinging spark to a breathable wind. I let out a deep sigh and hurried out of the building as fast as possible.

New York, is a place where people and vehicles are bustling as the world moves on its own without time for people to take a pause in their life. In two hours of a long trip and the frequent encounter with Greek monsters, I would be arriving at Long Island—Camp Half-Blood will be there as always as I hope for the best.
