Darry:

Darry had just gotten home from work when he heard someone throwing up in the bathroom. He ran to the bathroom and saw you kneeling over the toilet, very pale. I ran to you and put his arms around you. He felt your forehead to see if you were sick but you didn't have a fever.

"You don't have a fever, what's wrong?" he asked you in a super gentle tone.

You immediately got tears in your eyes because you never wanted him to find out. That made him panic even more. he asked you what happened again and this time a few tears spilled down your face. You look at him, trying to explain it with your eyes because you knew that you wouldn't be able to say it aloud.

"Oh." He said, obviously distraught.

Even though Darry never cried, a few tears brimmed his eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me? I could've helped you through this." He said, his voice filled with emotion.

"I just didn't want you to worry, and all I wanted to do was lose a little weight," you whispered.

"Baby, you are perfect, you don't need to change anything!" he said, his voice rising a little. You couldn't look him in the eye so you just wrapped your arms around him and let him carry you to the couch.

"I'm going to go get you some food and we're going to eat together, ok?" he asked. You nodded slightly as he walked away.

Steve:

I and Steve were at the DX and he offered to "borrow" some food for us two over his lunch break. I politely declined and said that I had already eaten.

"No you haven't, you've been with me all day and you haven't eaten anything," he stated, looking at me intensely. I stuttered for a few moments trying to come up with a lie or something to distract him from the point but my mind came up blank. Suddenly his face dropped.

"I haven't seen you eat in days actually. When was the last time you ate?" he questioned me. I realized that he was gonna find out eventually.

" Um, six days, I think?" My voice made it come out as a question which made it sound even worse. He quickly reached out and wrapped his arms around me. "Why?" was the only word he could force out from between his clenched teeth. I had clearly upset him and I felt bad.

"Someone called me fat a while ago and for some reason, it stuck with me. You deserve better than a fat pig..." my voice trailed off. At this point, he was torn between rage and sorrow. He couldn't believe that his beautiful girlfriend had been starving herself and he was pissed that someone had dared to call his girlfriend anything other than perfect.

"Who?" he growled, almost inaudible.

"Some Socs, I don't know them," I whispered back.

"We're going back to the Curtis place right now and you are going to eat, then we're going Soc hunting," he said.

Two-Bit:

We were sitting on the couch watching Mickey Mouse and Two-bit was eating cake.

"You want some Minnie?" he offered me a hunk of chocolate cake. My stomach ached at the thought. It had been quite a while since I had eaten.

"No thanks, Two," I said, trying to smile.

"Ok," he looked at me with his stupid grin and turned back to the TV. "You want me to get you something else?" he offered with a goofy smile. It took all of my willpower to reject food.
