"Are you okay? It looks like there's a storm cloud above your head," Heeseung said, looking at the younger curiously.

He admitted, "Honestly, I don't think I am." Ni-ki had to go to school alone that day since Iseul was sick with a fever and since he woke up he thought he was cursed. First of all he ran out of bagels so he had to eat his mom's super healthy wheat cereal. Then he had wait in the subway and play solitaire all by himself. To add to it, he tripped on his way out of the train and gained another bruise on his knee. He then was late to school on account of his knee being in less than good condition and earned himself after school detention.

He took a bite of his now cold food and made a disgusted face. He was in such a rush in the morning that he forgot to pack lunch and had to buy the disgusting school food.

"No offense Jake, but cafeteria lunch is disgusting. I don't understand how you consume this everyday." Ni-ki complained.

Jake explained while making a pouty face, "I don't eat it on the weekends so technically it's not everyday."

Ni-ki spent the rest of the day miserable. He got a 73 on his math test, which he thought he did good on, and after detention he had to walk home in the rain.

The only good thing about his tiring day was that he when he hit his bed he slept like like a baby.

The next day, Ni-ki knocked on Iseul's door to wake her up. She opened the door with her eyes barely open and a frown on her face. "What are you doing so early?" She asked before coughing a few times. Ni-ki stepped back a bit so he wouldn't get contaminated.

"You're coming to school today. We both know you arent sick enough to skip again."

She somehow frowned even more. "That doesn't answer my question."

"We're going to take the long subway to school today." Iseul sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Why do I go along with everything you say?" Ni-ki shrugged.

"Be ready in half an hour," Ni-ki said and closed the door on her face.

Half an hour later, Iseul was somehow walking out the door next to Ni-ki. She noticed that his hair was curlier and messier than usual today. She rolled her eyes knowing that she would have to fix it before he could go to class. She was kind of sad since she had grown quite fond of his curly hair over the years. She noticed Ni-ki moving further and further awar from her on the path. By the time they got to the station, he was six feet away and seemed completely oblivious to the space between them.

She then had enough and turned to him. She looked at him and pointed to the space between them.

"You're sick. We need to social distance," Iseul scoffed and folded her arms.
