Iseul had been dragged to a dinner party with Ni-ki because all of his friends were going and wherever Ni-ki went, Iseul followed.
Iseul hated that philosophy.
Unfortunately, she was there doing small talk with some girls she's never met before.
Fortunately, she and Ni-ki had come up with hand signs for how socially drained she was on the subway there.
"Why do you always force me to come with you?"
"If I never invite you, then you would stay in and do nothing everyday for the rest of your life."
"Exactly. That's exactly what I would do since I enjoy doing that." Ni-ki rolled his eyes.
"Everybody else is bringing someone and they expect me to bring someone too."
"So pretty much you're bringing me as a date?"
Ni-ki huffed, "Never mind. I didn't want you to come anyway."
"Fine. I'll come." Ni-ki was relieved and happy, even if he didn't show it. "But only on one condition."
"What?"
"We have to get out of there as soon as I tell you."
"Also are Jay and Jungwon bringing dates?"
"Jungwon is bringing one but Jay isn't."
"Yikes. Maybe this is good for them though. Jay is definitely gonna get jealous. Fifteen bucks they kiss within two days of the dinner party. Make that twenty."
"Deal."

Iseul and Ni-ki got to the restaurant just on time, despite Ni-ki getting ready just 15 minutes before they had to leave.
Unfortunately Iseul and Ni-ki had to separate and couldn't sit next to each other. Iseul had sat next to some of her friends from school, so she wasn't too lonely but quickly realized that they were already preoccupied with each other. She had just gotten her meal and took smaller bites than usual.
Already forty-five minutes in, Ni-ki glanced towards Iseul. She tried to hold up a two in the most discreet way possible. Ni-ki nodded and went back to his chat with the other boys.
