SAM WAS TRYING TO CATCH UP ON EVERYTHING HE MISSED IN THE PAST YEAR, from his personal life to pop culture. Trying to get used to Crystal only being with them part time, that she had many responsibilities. She was supposed to be back full time, but she's been getting better. Her home base is at Bobby's. Right now she was with with the balance researching the 'Mother of All' with the help of Brooke, Agnes, Charlie, Oliver and Felicity. Any help that they could get is welcomed by Crystal.
Ben was to go on off researching on his own, he had his own private contacts and books. Crystal made a point to go with him.
"I can go on my own." Ben reminds her.
"Yeah, but I want to learn from you." She tells him with a small smile.
"Your aunt wants you to keep an eye on me?" He asks and she nods slightly.
"She also made it clear your have a lot of knowledge and it would be beneficial to learn from you." She admits. "I'm not cleared to use my magic to fight, or overwhelm myself." Her eyes shifted from him to the trees behind him. "That's okay?" She asks suddenly feeling nervous. She forces to look at him, before he could notice, but Ben being the perceptive person he is notices.
"Okay." He holds his arms in surrender, making her smile widen. She reminds him so much of Cora.
ON THE ROAD, THE SUN SHINES BRIGHTLY, CRYSTAL IS GRATEFUL SHE PICKED out a dress to wear instead of jeans. Best part of the dress, it has built in shorts and pockets.
"So, what do you know about the Mother of All?" She as her eyes taken the road before them.
"Only the rumors." He says thinking back to everything he could remember. "That she's the mother off all supernatural beings."
"Why can't we hear her? If she's supposed to be our mother?" Crystal asks him not being to help herself.
"Maybe because we're human." He says and she nods. Dean had sent her a message informing Crystal of their latest predicament. Sam working on a case in a town while he was Soulless Sam. "What's wrong?" He asks her face changed within a matter of seconds, even with her attempt of trying to cover it up.
"Sam and Dean are on a case ..." she takes a pause, trying to gather thoughts, "Sam has been there before, when he was soulless." She looks out the window. "Should you even be driving?" She asks turning to look at him changing the subject.
"I've been driving before you were even born." He tells her not taking his eyes off the road ahead of them. "Cora usually lets me do the driving." He says and Crystal takes notice of how he talks about her like she's alive. A small smile tugs on her lips, it's good to hear people talk about her mom, there's so much she didn't get to learn about her. Ben knows the Cora before so much grief, the one where her parents and brother were still alive.
