MONTHS AGO . . .

NATE HAD GOTTEN THE CALL FROM
CAMIE THAT KLAUS LEFT HER SIDE AND NOW here he is following Klaus to the LaFayette Cemetery. Klaus had found out yesterday about Rebekah and Marcel's betrayal. Klaus wields the indestructible white oak stake, screaming in a rage for Rebekah, "REBEKAH! REBEKAH! Cherish the breath in your lungs! It'll be your last." Nate was still processing it all, but he wouldn't go to extent that Klaus was.

ELIJAH WALKS PAST THE CRYPTS AND STOPS IN FRONT OF ONE AS REBEKAH COMES out beside him.

Rebekah asks, "Elijah?"

Elijah asks, "What are you doing here? Rebekah, you should be on the other side of the world by now."

Rebekah says, "You and I both know that wouldn't have been far enough."

Klaus yells, "GET AWAY FROM HER! She's mine."

His eyes turn yellow as the veins protrude on his face. Elijah holds Papa Tunde's blade in his hand, it shakes as he bars his teeth at Klaus as does Rebekah. Both are ready to attack. Nate stands a few steps away from
Klaus, Nate's own eyes turned yellow and he holds a weapon of his own, one they haven't seen before. One with the Fairchild markings. Elijah is a little surprised by this, he shouldn't be knowing a little of his brother infatuation with the Fairchild witch. One that Nate kept go himself, he hadn't seen Nate like this before.

KLAUS, ELIJAH, NATE, AND REBEKAH ARE HAVING A STANDOFF WHILE THEY'RE TRAPPED in the cemetery. Klaus has the indestructible white oak stake, while Elijah is holding Papa Tunde's blade. Nate holds the Fairchild knife putting himself between Elijah and Klaus.

"Rebekah!" Klaus says staring down at his sister. "You betray me?" Klaus asks Nate shocked.

"I won't let you hurt our sister." Nate tells him. Elijah knew Nate wouldn't allow Klaus to hurt Rebekah, sure he'd let him stab her with the daggers but stab her with the white oak? Never.

Elijah tells Klaus, "Walk away."

Klaus yells, "Don't move! "

Elijah tells Rebekah, "Leave us now."

Rebekah says scared and angry, "I can't. I'm stuck here. Elijah, he has the white oak stake."

Klaus points the stake in her direction, "I brought it for you, sister."

Elijah tells Rebekah, "Get out of his sight. Your presence here only serves to anger him. Leave him to me now." He turns to Nate, "go with her," Nate nods as Elijah focus on Klaus as Rebekah and Nate vamp-speeds away, "I'm asking you, brother to brother—we end this nonsense now."

Klaus says, "You would side with that traitor."

Elijah explains, "I am not choosing sides, but I will not allow you to hurt our sister."
