NATE WASN'T SURE IF HIS PLAN WAS THE BEST BUT HE KNEW WHAT HE NEEDED FO DO. This would do the trick. Event if it meant crossing the few morals he had left, if it meant she was safe, alive, he would do it. She wouldn't suffer the same fate Hayley had, she wouldn't turn, or their future kid, dying because of some stupid witch prophecy. He wouldn't trade her life for this life of filled with enemies, enemies that his family made over the millennium.
Her spitfire nature.
"But stop beating around the bush, what do you want from me, besides finding out how I drugged you." She says. "A spell done? Someone killed? I have morals you know. I won't break them for anyone."
Her words of it being stupid for a with falling in love with a vampire. Look where it got them.
"Yes, the original who fell in love with her." She says. "Why would they think that it would ever work? she was a witch and he was a vampire, it never works. The Balance didn't allow it clearly and the Fairchild line would die." She says.
"Love." He says making her laugh. His eyes hold confusion.
"Sorry, it's just funny to think of an original who is one of the worst falling in love with a witch who stood up against everything he did." She says. "It never works because the witch dies, and will most likely die because of the vampires. Biologically vampires can't reproduce, and witches can. It wouldn't work out." She states the obvious. "It's one of the stupidest tropes authors write about, I mean who would actually give up magic to be a vampire? As a witch you can feel the earths magic, and it's so incredible." She says smiling and he smiles remembering when he was human. She stops once she remembers that he was a witch before turning, before their parents forced them.
Her love for magic, and it broke his heart even more thinking about the hurt he is about to inflict on both of them. "I hope one day you forgive me, or at least understand me." He says to himself.
EVERYTHING WAS SET UP, THE HOUSE WAS SET UP. "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THIS, NATE?" Naomi asks, she is a dream walker he helped a few years back. Saved from a crazy cult, believing in the end of time. He'd help keep her hidden.
"Yeah." He nods and she stares at him unsure. She owed him, but this—she wasn't sure if she should share what she had seen, Nate usually chose not to know what happened on other universe, after he found out he had killed Cora and Chris in one universe, and Crystal had found the bodies.
"Is there an alternate universe where we're happy?" He asks her.
"Yeah." She nods. He nods and hands him the paper work. "There's a few." She tells him. He looks up at her with a questioning look. "Do you want to know?" She asks him and he stares at her for a few seconds before leaving the room.
