Chapter 5

2 weeks after Siri's birthday...

Siri POV

A couple weeks have gone by since my birthday and I'm surprised to say that Yoongi has been talking to me a lot more than usual in our music class. It's nice because the only other person he talks to in our class is Taehyung, otherwise other people are afraid of him. Except for the girls who want to sleep with him of course, which I can tell he finds them annoying.

It's been nice, though. A couple times he even gave me some banana milk in class. He must have seen me drinking it around campus. It's one of my favourite drinks so I was pleasantly surprised he went to the trouble of buying it for me.

Because Yoongi has been talking to me more, his friend Taehyung has also been chatting with me more. While Taehyung is one of the big fuckboys of the university, he's pretty funny and easy to get along with and during these past few days I've been sitting with them during class and chatting to them happily.

What's really weird though is Yoongi's friend Jungkook who has been giving me the odd glare occasionally when Yoongi and Taehyung separate from me after class. Don't know why he does it. I've never done anything to my knowledge to piss him off. Did I maybe anger him somehow by not fawning over him on my birthday??

I don't know and I don't really care.

His problem I guess.

It's 8.30pm Friday night and I was closing up the diner with a coworker, BamBam. Jin had already left to be with his family so it was just Bambam and myself. I was wiping up some tables when I heard the doorbell go off. I groaned as someone obviously didn't read the sign that we are closing.

"Sorry but we're clo- oh! Yoongi? What are you doing here?" I asked him with confusion.

"Hey Siri... I uhh... wanted to see if you've had dinner yet? Thought I could take you out as a thanks for getting me the iced coffee today."

Yep... because he's been buying me a few banana milks lately, I got him some iced coffee.

I couldn't contain my smile, "Is this a roundabout way of you asking me out?"

He nervously chuckled while rubbing the back of his neck. "Maybe? I've never actually asked a girl out before so I'm new to this... Sorry..."

Aw... my heart had so many butterflies going off right now. And he looked so cute looking all nervous and shy.

"Can't say I'm surprised to hear that." I said with a giggle. "You and your friends get many girls flocking to you so you've probably never needed to ask them out."

"Until there was you." Yoongi said softly as he looked me straight in the eyes with all seriousness.

Gosh, the butterflies were going off like crazy and I'm sure I was blushing crimson red.

"You can go on your date Siri." Bambam said from behind the counter, giving me a grin.

"Oh... You sure Bambam?"

"Yeah, go ahead! I only need to wipe the last few tables then it's home time."

"Ok, sure, thank you. I'll just grab my bag and I'll be with you soon." I said to Yoongi. He nodded and gave me a small smile.

I came back out with my bag and started walking out with Yoongi holding the door open for me.

"Thank you. So... where did you have in mind for dinner at this hour?"
