Zoe had been found , and let's just say I wasn't expecting what I saw . The people who is sent on a mission to go find her , found her at some abandoned warehouse here in LA .
So Sandro and I came to conclusion that she never really managed to get on the flight despite the security cameras showing different. It must've been edited .
Anya didn't know this but she was in critical condition and I had her taken to one of the best doctors in LA . not because I care but Sandro insisted on it for some Strange reason . It was obvious he felt something for her .
During her being missing he was agitated, sleepless and barely got any rest . I understand his frustration, if that had happened to Anya God knows what id do .
We already knew the Russians were behind this but we had to continue playing our part acting clueless . Alessandro had also killed Nikolai with his bare hands which I forgot to mention .
'He wouldn't shut the fuck up' according to him , I snitched my shoulders and told him it didn't matter as he wasn't of much use to us anymore .
I had left home quite unexpectedly and I knew Anya would probably be thinking where I was . It's been a week since she's begun her training and metes just say There's a massive improvement.
"When I get my hands on maliki-" Sandro forts to himself pacing up and down the waiting room . I sigh glancing down at my watch .
"Calm down , at least we know she's alive-"
He scoffs "barley , she wasn't breathing when they found her , why the fuck is she missing a toe ? Those sick bastards."
"I know , but she's safe now , you don't have to worry, she's going to be okay we didn't pay 700,000 dollars for nothing ."
"It's been three hours ."
" family of Zoe-"
Speak of the devil , sandros back faces me and he approaches the doctor allowing me to stand up .
"She's stable now , but she'll have to stay in hospital for a few weeks , she had a few broken ribs and her wrist is sprained , along with the missing toe . What happened if I may ask ?"
"fucking Russians ." Sandro mumbles only loud enough so I could hear , the doctor knew we weren't gonna answer his questions so he allowed us to go in and see her .

The moment we walked into the room I watched as Alessandro immediately hugged her, he apologised for everything that had happened and then kissed her .
I knew they were together
"Your safe now , no one is going to hurt you I promise ."
He then steps aside so I come into view and yes she did look bad , even though I didn't care for her I felt guilt deep inside . No one should have to go through that .
"Thankyou for getting me out of there." She sniffles "I don't know what I would've done ." She sniffles , Sandro tightly grips on her hand
"no problem , your family now ." I say knowing I meant it .
"Lorenzo , there coming for Anya , I know they are she's not safe , something big is being planned I don't know what."
Anya
I'd like to see them try come anywhere near my wife , they'll have to go through me . I know exactly why Maliki targeted her specifically and not Leona or Alex .
He knows I'm in love with her
"When I was in that warehouse , I overheard a few things , he'd always talk about the fourteenth day , and something to do with shipments , I think he was planning on sabotaging something ."
"Sandro what day is it today ?"
"The eleventh ."
Three days , is that all I have
The new shipments were arriving on the fourteenth at the warehouse and that's where Anya will be .
"You need to call Jackson and have those shipments placed in a different location, they've been sabotaged already."
"but how ? If you haven't received it?" Zoe asks confused
"Fernando ." I grit

I pull Anya back towards me giving her a serious look , she frowns at me and I don't say anything until we're in my office .
"What's wron-"
"We found Zoe , she's in the hospital critical condition but she's alive she's okay."
I give her a few minutes to process what I just told her , she then insists she wants to see her and I explain to her that Sandro was with her .
"I want to see her"-
"No , Anya you need to carefully listen to me. Maliki wants to kill you okay ? He's doing it to hurt me, he kidnapped Zoe and now he wants you , I have a plan but I don't think your gonna like it ."
"What?!" She exclaims, removing my hand from her arm she begins to panic. It's more of a mood swing because she starts crying moments after .
I knew she'd be overwhelmed
"Why are you acting as if it's normal?"
"Because I have a plan , he's not gonna hurt you ."
"How do you know that? He's a psychopath he might just slit my throat and kill my babies ."
I held her face in my hands to stop her from frantically panicking . Her eyes glisten as she looks up at me letting out one final breath .
"can you please listen to me?" I say calmly , gently she nods her head and I frown when her lips quiver.
She's scared
"In three days, there's gonna be an explosion at the warehouse , Maliki will be here and he will take you-" I pause for a moment wiping the tear which fell down her cheek.
"He will take you , but when he does your going to have a tracker , I'll know where you are and I'll be right behind you, he's smart he may hurt you but he knows not to kiln you , he knows your precious to me , you need to be smarter than him okay? Play along okay baby."
"I'm not strong enough." She whispers , I feel my heart clench , as she breaks down . She's quick to place her head on my shoulder . Her warm tears soak my dress shirt and my arms go around her body .
"you are Tesoro , you are strong ."
"I'm not." She mumbles
"Why do you think I chose you ? Because I knew you could handle it ."
"This is too much for me Enzo ."
"Guardami."I whisper , she lifts her head up wiping her nose "it's kinda what you signed up for when you agreed to marrying me hmm tesoro?"
"I know but I don't want to leave you , I'm in love with you ." Anya whimpers quietly
"Your not leaving me , I promise."
"I think my mind just needs to process this for a while ."
"I know this is a lot but I wouldn't have asked if I knew you weren't capable of doing this."
"what if they hurt you ?"
"you don't have to worry about me Tesoro ."
