Chapter 53

Four days later

Lorenzo was meant to come back yesterday but for some reason I didn't see him . I hadn't spoken to him ever since that call because I was mad at him . But I didn't know why

It was around noon and I had no plans today as except sleeping . I stood in the shower allowing the hot water to descend down my body relaxing my muscles. I look down and smile I could barley see my toes anymore due to how big my belly was .

He was definitely gonna be a chunky baby

I don't stay in for too long because my feet were aching from standing for too long.
I reach for my white towel wrapping it around myself as I step out .

I look into the mirror running my fingers through my hair . I should dye it .
"Anya."

I feel my heart clench and I look in my reflection to see Enzo leaning against the door .
I turn around and I'm still processing him standing right in front of me . "Miss me?" He says with a smile on his face as he begins to approach me . My arms are quick to go around him the moment he stands right in front of him and I have to stand on my tip-toes to reach his neck . I could feel my towel beginning to loosen but I couldn't give a shit . I missed him

After a few minutes of being in each other's embrace we pull away , and i didn't even notice the tears on my face till he wiped them . "I'm here now baby." he whispers staring into my eyes . Lorenzo only went for two weeks yet it felt like a whole month .

I tug on his shirt pulling him down towards me allowing me to connect my lips with his , they felt so soft against mine and honestly all I wanted him to do was bend me over this sink . I part my lips giving him space for his tongue to enter . I feel his hand descend down my body possessively . I moan against his lips when his warm hands lightly squeeze my ass .

We kiss for a few more minutes and hugged again straight after , I quickly wanted to get chnaged into some clothes before we could catch up and we were now laying on our bed staring at each other . Our finger's stay interlocked as I listen to him explain why he had to help Mr chen .

"And that Elena girl?"

"Tesoro she's an assassin I had to work with her to track down the Russians and yes i'll admit she attempted a few things but I made it clear I had a wife." I knew he was telling the truth , I just felt so guilty for not trusting him . "Do I need to kill her?" I ask rising an eyebrow

"Once were finished working together baby you can do anything ."

"I'm sorry for ignoring you these few days , I was mad."

"It's okay Amore." I peck his lips and sigh , Why must I be a brat at times? Especially when Enzo didn't deserve it at all. How on earth is he able to put up with me? "How Is our son holding up?" he uses his free arm and places his hand against my belly , Elijah kicks instantly but a little to hard as it causes me to wince . "I think he missed you too." 

"well I'm here now."

I give him a warm smile and he gently kisses my temple , I watch as he interacts with our baby , his eyes lighting up every time he moves or kicks . It was annoying for me though. It was like my insides were moving constantly .

"have you eaten ?"

"I had breakfast-"

"It's the afternoon now , anything in mind?" He says sitting up, i stretch my arm out and he pulls my hand and I sit up also . "thanks." I whisper. "If he could come out right now I'd be so happy ."

He chuckles helping me off the bed , I slightly pull down his shirt because it was folded . I was so small it reached my knees .

"What are planning on making ?" I ask as we descended down the spiral stairs. Ever since I fell that one time Enzo never let's me go by myself but I've made it very clear I can manage . 

"Something I'll know you'll love, just sit and watch the chef do it."

I roll my eyes climbing onto the bar stools which were seated at the island. I reach for the packet of grapes swinging my legs back and forth as I watch Enzo . He looks so good .

"Who do you he'll look like more?" I ask

"Me, he will definitely take your eyes ."

"You do have strong genes, but yeah I want him to have my eyes."

He bends over reaching for a pit giving me a perfectly good view of his glutes. Damn .
I pick up my phone when I hear a notification, it's Zoe .

After seeing her message I quickly dial her number . I wonder what the hell was going on with her ?

"Anya? Hello!"

"Zoe what's wrong-"

"How did you know you were pregnant ?" She asks cutting me off , I furrow my eyebrows thinking back to when I found out .

"Erm, I missed my period , felt nauseous and also I was craving the most strangest things . Why?"

"Oh God this can't be happening, I don't want a kid not right now ."

My eyes widen "Zoe are you pregnant?"

"I don't know , I think."

"Oh my God ! Our babies could be best friends , why don't you want a kid?"

"Hey you may have got married and settled down but I'm still enjoying my life-"

"So what ? Your gonna get rid of an innocent kid because you were being careless. Zoe come on now . Have you spoke to Sandro about this ?"

"No." She sighs "I love him so much I don't wanna disappoint him ."

"Zoe you need to talk to him okay?" My eyes meet Enzo's and he gives me a smile "He's home now so i'll call you back bye." she ended the call before i could say anything else . Placing my phone down , I look back at Enzo . I really hope everything goes well.

"You okay tesoro?"

"yeah i'm okay, do you think Sandro would be a good father?"

He inhales a sharp breath before speaking "His childhood wasn't exactly the best and he never really had a father figure so I don't know."

I  just hope if she is that he will be supportive of any decision she wants to make . He goes around the island coming to my side . "hey." He whispers gently standing in between my legs "I doubt he'll leave her or anything like that don't worry." His fingers caress my cheeks and he gives me a gentle peck. "she'll be okay."
