Chapter 65

The next morning

"I totally understand you've been away for a while and your needed ." I give Enzo a smile in attempt to ease the guilty look on his face . He felt bad leaving me alone because he had so much stuff he needed to attend to .

"Anything Tesoro and I mean 'anything' call me okay?"

"Yes I will."

He sighs placing a kiss on my forehead before moving towards my lips . Murmuring a quiet
'I love you '

"I love you too ." I respond as he pulls away , he then faces Elijah's crib leaning down towards him , we were in his nursery and I wanted just to see how it was , but he definitely will be staying with Enzo and i until I felt comfortable .

"Please be good for your mother ."

I smile lazily reaching for his arm , I stretch my arms out to straighten his diagonal tie .
"I missed seeing you in your fancy suits , it's sexy ."

"You can't say stuff like that knowing we can't have sex."

My eyes roll back and his hands dig into my waist "Only three weeks left ." I say in a sing songy voice , causing a small smile to break on his face .

A vibration fills our ears and he sighs looking down at me "I have to go my love." He whispers his forehead against mine .

He gives me a few more kisses before he leaves , with Elijah being asleep I could finally manage to do a few things I had on my to do list . No one was in the mansion except the guards .

Alex and Leona had gone off to school , well Leona yes . Alex was very rebellious , but it was understandable which is why Enzo didn't really care to bother him . He was able to take care of himself especially with him going away for college soon .

Leona also wanted to move into a dorm with her friends as she now claims she's older enough . She's seventeen . Lorenzo however is their guardian so it was his choice wether she could go or not .

Life at the minute was absolutely great , I could almost say it felt normal . But it wasn't . Enzo and I were in a good place at the moment and I'm hoping it stays the same .

I love him too much for anything to change.

I started using the gym we had downstairs as I wanted to get rid of the belly fat I had , I know it's just the simple postpartum body , but I wanted to feel comfortable in my skin .

I mostly did cardio and worked mainly around my torso area , everything else was okay . Enzo wasn't happy about this because he liked me the way I was , according to him I was 'thick ' and just right .

But I also had to remind him how I felt about myself and his opinion were two different things . I would normally use the treadmill for a good fifteen minutes before moving onto lifting some weights .

I didn't have to worry about Eli as I had baby monitors out in the house . That was the first thing I did when we got back from Italy .
I would get notifications on my phones , and alerts on my Apple Watch . It made things much more easier .

Speaking of Elijah , I had to take him into the hospital to register him as he was born in Italy instead of here . Meaning I would have to make him a passport etc .

I couldn't complain about being a mother because I've only just begun , God knows how many children I'll have or how I'll be once he grows up .

After working in the gym I decide to take a good three hour nap and by the time I had work up so did Elijah . I fed and changed him before placing him back down. He was only a month old and the only thing he did was babble, cry , eat and sleep .

Babies

As each day went by I could see a a mini Lorenzo already , I had a hunch feeling he'd end up looking just like his father . That man and his good genes .

Incoming call from Mi amore

My AirPod loudly speaks into my ear , I sigh double tapping of the earphone answering the call . It was so much easier than always having my phone with me .

"Hi baby."

"Hi how's everything going ?"

I scrunch my face up in disgust after getting a whip of Eli's diaper . His poops were outrageous. "Everything's okay , I'm just changing Elijah at the moment ."

"Yeah I don't think I wanna know ."

I smile "how's work going on over there ?"

"Everything's great actually, I just had a briefing not too long ago and received all the updates on shipments , and all that stuff , I could clear my schedule and come home if you like ?"

"Really?"

I couldn't last a day without him

"Ugh yes that'd be great ." I throw his diaper into the baby bin before changing him .

"I'll be home soon ."

The call ends and I lift up Eli smiling at him ,
"Daddy's coming home ." I coo

His two colored  eyes look into mine and my heart melts , and he mumbles incomprehensible words .

His eyes squint and I'll take it as a smile . I kiss his small forehead placing him over my shoulder .

"Where's my baby?" Zoe asks as I set my phone down , I give her a look and tell her that the baby she was referring to was mine and came out of me .

"And he's here actually."

"Oh my God ." She exclaims "so adorable ."

Elijah was dressed in one of his onesies and it was meant to be his size but it was drowning him because of how small he was . I tried rolling up his sleeves but they just came back down .

Zoe and I had been on our FaceTime call for a good half an hour , I just wanted to be entertained until Enzo gets back home .

"Who do you think he'll be more like ? Once he's older ." I ask genuinely curious

"We'll , I know he'll be more like his dad but I think he'll have your personality , maybe some parts of it ."

My eyes move back to my son and the thought of it really got me into thinking . A part of me already knew Elijah would end up being like his dad because he was heir to basically everything .

"I think he definitely will turn out like Lorenzo ."

"Is that a bad thing ?" She questions

"Yes and no , Enzo's had a hard life and I doubt he'd want our child to live the same way he did ."

"All of this is making me wish I had a baby now." She says removing her vape pen from her lips blowing out a large cloud of smoke .

I still don't know how she liked them , I tried it the other day and they were nasty , or maybe it was the flavor .

"You still have time your only just 23."

"Yes I know I've just never imagined myself being a mother."

I roll my eyes "we'll start imagining it." I could hear footsteps and I knew Enzo was back .
"Anyways I'll talk to you later my husband's back."

"Ugh okay whatever."

"Say bye to auntie Zoe Eli." I raise his tiny arm giving Zoe a wave , she takes a FaceTime photo before ending the call just as Enzo walks in .

"There's daddy." I whisper reaching for a pillow and placing it behind him to support his back .

He instantly kissed me the moment he approaches me . It was just a soft kiss but I wanted his lips to stay on mine for longer .

"Hi." I whisper

"Hi beautiful." He pulls away now moving his attention towards Eli and picking him up . He lifts him high up in the air before bringing him back down . "Hey buddy."

I actually wanna give him an entire football team .
